Pretty darn good
Usually, I try to avoid things with gluten and I will very rarely order something that contains wheat ingredients. I never really gain weight when I do purchase products that contain wheat but it's still something I stay away from (wheat-belly hype) -- for the most part.I wanted to make something clear that NOT every ingredient is listed on Amazon's description. There is a single NON-organic ingredient in these crackers and it is rosemary extract. I'm what you might call a "serious" organic buyer and if I find a non-organic ingredient on the label AFTER I buy the product then I get a little angry. However, these crackers are really good. They're big -- like sandwich bread big -- and they are addictive. Someone with little or no self control might eat an entire 7 ounce box of these in one sitting. I did, and I covered them in organic sunbutter. I'm not ashamed!I did take these off of subscribe and save because I was miffed about one of the ingredients not being organic, but I am thinking about ordering them again because I think sunbutter just tastes that much better with a crunchy, cheesy, and pumpkin seed-y companion.Be aware that the seeds will get stuck in your teeth and the crackers are very, VERY crunchy.

Very delicious, visually appealing cracker
A note from Mrs. l-I think this is really my "go to cracker" when I am craving something delicious, crunchy and visually appealing to eat. These crackers look like something you might find in a great bakery or in a super cookbook like Moosewood genre. (Not that anyone could create something so crisp and delicious). Some of the ingredients could have had the potential to overwhelm the tastebuds, but the recipe apparently developed into a subtle combination of flavors that led to something quite delicious. I especially like that the cheese flavor is a milder cheddar without a sharp bite and the organic pumpkin seeds are a sweet, nutty note. Pumpkin seeds that are not organic are often subtly bitter. These are happily not! While one might be happy to munch on just the cracker by itself, these flatbreads are delicious with egg salad, salmon spread, tuna salad, hot vidalia onion spread, curried chicken salad. A messy, but happy snack or lunch involves a light smear of mayo, a sprinkling of fresh basil, a thick slice of tomato and a sprinkle of grated cheese. Broil until cheese is bubbly. Oh! My! The cracker really holds its weight with wetter foods like sliced veggies. A light spread of creamed cheese topped with a length-wise slice of cucumber and thinly sliced sweet onions is manageable for a delectable lunch without throwing crackers pieces from here to Mars. The only problem I would note is that there are 150 mg of sodium in one piece. And, I am not a fan of palm oil because its production can pose harmful effects on the environment. We just choose to eat few products with palm oil in it and this is one of the two products we consume with palm oil.Anyway, to conclude, a major favorite food item. Not just for snacking. Love a slice with a buttery poached egg. I have even run a package through the food processor to make great crumbs for breading fish or chicken strips to bake in the oven. Also as a cracker component for salmon cakes.

GOOD FOR YOU IN EVERY WAY
I subscribe to these now & switch around to the different flavors sometimes. High in fiber and trace minerals, I mostly eat these with diffeent flavors of sardines (kippers), tuna, and anything else that would go good with any other crackers. This is part of my change to a healthier diet, that I started about 6 years ago, now at age fifty. My blood pressure & cholesteral are the best they have ever been. My dentist has even stated my gums are looking healthier (no more bleeding gums) a first for me. On line with the teeth issue, these probably are to hard for those with loose or weak teeth. But if you want a decently tasty cracker, to replace bad snacking habits, their probably isn't anything better. I first came across these at Jason's Deli, so I googled them and read reviews as you are doing now.If you are not sure if you will like them try getting them at your local deli. They usually have a couple of flavors and are the smaller cracker not flatbread, but taste the same. Also over the years I have modified what I eat, first I started as a lo-carber, mostly eating my favorite meats etc., but my triglicerides were always high, so I started adding sardines & more nuts & fruits, skipping more often some of my favorites like fried chicken. But have found excellent & flavorful alternatives, dark chocolate Almonds, some Sara Lee breads, lo-carb brands of tortillas.I still fall off once in a while & eat out often, but always get back on course. I feel better and healthier & actually enjoy & look forward to eating all the varieties of foods I've painstakingly researched over the years. Which I keep on hand, so as not to eat bad too often.

Organic Flatbread from Dr. Cracker review
Doctor Kracker Organic and Artisan-Baked Flatbread, Pumpkin Seed Cheddar, 7-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6) I have eaten this product at Jason's Deli and loved it. However, when I found it online, the price was quite high, but since we liked it so much, I ordered it anyway. It was delivered quickly, just a matter of a couple days, because it is made not 10 miles from our office. BUT IT TASTED STALE. That was a real disappointment and I will not order any more. It's much too expensive to be stale in less than 3 days of my order. Both my husband and I had it again at Jason's Deli yesterday and it tasted fresh and wonderful. Our experience was not a happy one. I tried to find a retailer who sells it in the area, since it is made right here, but could not find one, so I guess we will just have to find something else.
