Misspelled the architect's name, KHAN
One can get an idea of the low quality of this book, judging by the spine, wherein the architect's name is written Khan. On the cover, it is Kahn. Geez...

Very general survey book. Not really worth having in a library. Missing many important works and offering little beyond a few pictures of the projects shown

Best Book on Louis Kahn's masterpiece
This is a large book of excellent original full bleed photographs of the National Assembly Building of Bangladesh by Kahn. It is the only book I know that combines early drafted plans and sections with final presentation plans and sections. There is also a photo key showing where the photos were taken. Thus it is a unique source for the backstage spaces, the main street and the facade details, normally not published in other books. Couldn't recommend it more. An amazing study of Kahn's greatest building - almost as good as being there; rewards long study.. All the more valuable because you cannot now get to or into this building easily, and it is now surrounded by ugly security fences and armed guards. See also Wendy Lessers description in "You Say to Brick". Surprised by other reviewer's criticism. It's a monograph on the single building. Look elsewhere for a survey of Kahn's work. There are many.
