I have now owned this sub amp combo for 10 years. When I first hooked it up, I had a seperate amp not realizing it came with one. How could it be this cheap and have its own amp? I hooked it up to a 2f capacitor (I recommend at least 4, 8 is better) to ensure clean power delivery.. and it knocked my socks off. This is not a competition sub. But for music lovers that want clean bass and decent thump that won’t rattle your windows out, THIS thing delivers!! Highly recommended, still going strong after 10 years… I only have had to replace my capacitor due to it being underpowered and hard on my alternator.

Great speaker so far super easy set up once you’ve run the wire through your car. Got some real power and thump! Average size fit perfect in my trunk.

This is a pretty good deal once the speaker is broken in. It sounds pretty distorted for the first week but after that it smoothed out. Good power and adequate bass for upgrading stock system. I'm satisfied

This is a self-driven amp that has a nice cabinet, two options for connection. Direct or via coaxial. I bought one for my son's 2001 Jeep for Christmas and it is and was a hit. I was so impressed that I decided to buy another for myself recently. I BARELY got it to fit into the trunk of my 2006 MX-5 but after removing the grille was able to. Very reliable sound and very deep and clean base. A GREAT VALUE. Comes with a sticker too which I happily placed on the garage beer fridge. BTW I am 47, not a youngster.

Speaker costed $90 and was a great buy for the quality at first. After it stopped working we had it inspected locally. The technician said it was an internal issue and needed to be replaced or fixed. We also bought a square trade replacement warranty from amazon in case it broke within 3 years. BUT, when it broke within the first year the manufacturer warranty takes precedence. After many emails to square-trade and the manufacturer, they wanted us to send it back the manufacturer (audio savings) which costed us $58. See where I am going here? The manufacturer after weeks will not respond. We now have no speaker, the Squaretrade replacement warranty does not qualify, and now the manufacturer will not respond. We have no speaker and no communication for m the supplier. Wow, never thought I would fall into this situation when I covered my action up front. I hope this helps your decision.

Looks great! Box and grill feel like good quality and fits very nicely behind the back seat. Does have the fishy smell out of the box. Was concerned about how it would sound and read many reviews on it. Most are quite accurate. It will not rattle the car but you can hear it coming down the road.If you want some bass without breaking the bank and aren’t looking to shatter windows then this one is a decent product. Remember…the bass is decent but NOT window shattering bass. I think people will get this thinking that’s what it can be.

When dialed in, this thing is absolutely unbeatable for the money. Ive been pushing it for about 3 months now and its reached its break inpoint and sounds awesome. Its not super "rumbly", but the kick drums hit hard, and the bass is very defined and distinguished. When properly wired, and when the gains and crossover are set well on your system, this thing will deliver!! I have pushed it very hard, to the point where my aftermarket main speakers where distorting, and have yet to have any clipping or distortion!! Id definately vouch for the 300w continuos and 500w peak claims!!! Build quality was great out of the box and very professional, Im amazed at the quality of the build, even if the materials aren't supposed to be "top notch" they still look and feel like it!! I can tell definate differences when playing highest bitrate music (320kbps), and would suggest using highest quality music. Overall, a ridiculous good deal so far!
