Comfortable fit.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Comfortable fit on the face. A little bulky but great protection over basic glasses when working straight overhead with stuff flying your way.

I have used regular safety glasses, but they often slide off my nose
I really don't have a problem with regular safety glasses other than the fact I have a very small but straight nose - no bump or anything for glasses to "perch" on and if I get a bit hot and sweaty when doing projects, they just slide off! This pair is exactly what I needed - no more stopping what I'm doing to push safety glasses up before they fall off my face - the strap keeps them in place and the glass area is nice and large, easy to see what I'm doing and with the cushiony foam around the edges, they remain comfortable for the time I have them on. Excellent safety glasses for me!

Good eye protection
The google work as intended and does a good job of keeping debris from flying into your eyes like I have experienced with other safety glasses. I have ordered multiple replacements. The only drawback is the the lens appear to me made of a soft plastic that is easily scratched.

Seals around your face
Works well. It seals around your face so small dust stays out of your eyes.

Not scratch resistant as advertised.
These googles from Dewalt arrived scratched. I'm certain it is due to the very "standard" packaging. Just a box. It looks to have gotten a large scratch area in the center of the curve due to vibrations most like taking place during shipping. There was no type of barrier or protection between the lens and the container wall. I feel that even a simple piece placed over that area could have prevented the scratches from movement during shipment. I would be much more satisfied with washing off a bit of tape adhesion then receiving a damaged item. If the scratch were anywhere on the goggles other than on the lens (especially right in the middle where it is viewed by either eye) then it would have not even bothered me whatsoever. So nay on the "scratch resistance" the comfort is so-so also in my opinion but I'm sure the comfort would depend up on each individual's own level of tolerance. I was not able to adjust the head strap as tightly as I needed to keep the goggles in place. I got them as lose as I possibly could so as to prevent any pressure discomfort but then that would cause the strap to slowly ride up the back of my head due to less friction and my hair allowing less resistance. I suppose if I were bald then it would hold better. Maybe even some short stubble to act as a velcro to grab onto the strap. As far as sun protection, I have no idea since I'm only using them indoors. I use them to protect my eyes from drying out from the fans in my room which I use to keep cooled. Lastly, I made a mistake on my part when choosing these. I wanted something a little deep so I could also wear my glasses underneath them. I failed to realize that the curvature was much greater than that of my "un-curved" glasses. Therefore for me to use these with my glasses, I would have to also bend them closer to match the outside curvature of the goggles. (Again, that was on me but I mention it just incase anyone else needs to consider the same situation with glasses.) They do look and feel durable. There was no noticeable plastic smell. Other than the center wear scratch, the vision through the plastic lens is crystal clear. On that note, I've noticed that if even the smallest of touch will retain any sweat or oils from my hand or arm and become both blurry and even more annoying than the center scratch patch. For my head size, which is on the "slightly smaller size for being 6'4" the fit around the seal on the edges (temple area) does not close completely. To get it to do so, I would need to tighten the elastic headband back into a more uncomfortable tightness. Overall, I feel due to construction and quality, a person would be getting their money worth from the purchase of these. (Dewalt DPG82) Just protect the lens better for shipping. And with that being said, most likely when I need a new pair, I will most likely explore other brands to see which would have different options and construction to make up for the complaints which I feel that I've encountered in these goggles.
