This is a great, fun way to keep in shape! Very easy to assemble, extremely sturdy and away you go! The accompanying DVD hasn't been used simply because I got it up on YouTube. I love how easy it is to twist away 20 minutes whilst listening to my favourite music! Would definitely recommend. I am in my fifties and am overweight but that isn't a problem with this twist n shape. Following a sensible eating plan and exercise routine and it is working for me.

Very good machine and very easy to use. Great result if used frequently

I wanted something to help trim my belly as I get older and other cardio didn't have much impact. That was my first mistake, this isn't a cardio machine! It is a tool to aid "core" work outs but is really for vertical sit-ups so control and precision are very important.Took me a few uses to realise I was getting no benefit, so I slowed down and tried to think about every twist as a sit-up and make sure my core was controlling movement not my arms. I'm getting better at it and think that I have much more improving to do and it will start to help but I'm not there yet (had it around 2 months and been on it about 20 times - OK perhaps I am a bit rubbish at it).I initially thought the video was good but it was a bit light on how to get the best out of this machine, still good to see how the basic few exercises should be carried out and I guess watching it whilst working out would help.Couple of negatives:1. Eating plan - thought this was poor and a get-out for the effectiveness of the machine.2. The counter is on the twist plate so you almost have to stop to check the info. I use it mainly for time and because the display cycles cannot keep the display on the time. So when checking the time I have to stop for a good few seconds until the time shows.3. I'd prefer a resistance control to increase the effort and benefitBig positives:1. Used correctly you will feel the burn in the right places. For this to be effective you have to fully twist in the opposite direction your upper and lower body, it's easy not to fully extend which won't get you much benefit. Same with the high intensity exercises, done correctly they are tough!2. Nice and easy to set-up.3. Feels robust (I'm just over 14 stone).4. Minimal impact upon joints - good news for people wanting to keep fit at all ages5. I actually find it more fun than cardio like cross fit4 stars, probably 4.5/5 to be more precise, as I do recommend this product.

This fantastic piece of equipment only took me half a hour to put together. All the instructions were in English and all parts and fittings are very clearly numbered and diagramed in the manual. I even comes with the battery supplied for the monitor. I was twisting away as soon as I set it up. Super easy to use, and comes with an excercise chart and one week diet chart too with a workout CD. It is as easy to use as you see it on TV. I haven’t used any keep fit equipment since I was 18 years old. I am now 48, and this twist and shape has awakened my enthusiasm to step on and work out for 30mins a time, or 10mins each time I walk into the room. It’s really Fun to use! I feel like a child in the playground running towards the Roundabout (something that you don’t see in park playgrounds anymore).

I really enjoy this, I have not exercised in a long time and bought this hoping to get my waste line back and thinking this looked quite easy and yes it is easy but much harder work than I was expecting, it really works the legs so it does more than I thought. It's one flaw is that the bottom bolt comes loose all the time so the stick you use to twist is not secure so you are constantly having to tighten it up. Watching the DVD, it appears the ones the demonstrators use do not have the bottom bolt. It is useful that it folds up easily but the price you pay is that the device looses some of its functionality. Personally I would prefer it to work better. I will persevere with it as I am hopeful that it will help me start to exercise again and hopefully assist in getting more toned. Overall I am happy with it, just wish the stick element would not come loose all the time.

I ordered this item on my sister’s recommendation. Had I not been able to look at hers I might not have realised mine was faulty! Hers is smooth & very easy to use. She credits it with toning her body (which looks great!). Mine was too stiff to use properly. I have returned it today for a refund

I knew I needed to do something to help get rid of my stomach and waistline after lockdowns especially seeing I hate walking. This is actually working and I can still look out my window or watch the telly. One extra bonus I’ve noticed is my back muscles are also being worked. I’m only doing 15 minutes a day at the moment as it has been 2 years of not doing anything. So highly recommend this for anyone who like me wants to start a light exercise inside and actually feel it working.Only one minor issue the grasp handles squeak and are a bit small especially if you have long nails.

contrary to what others say, this is well made and very smooth to use, I have used others in gyms and this is superior as the handle bar also twists, and in the opposite direction. someone said in a feedback that the locking knob keeps working loose, it just needs to be screwed tighter !
