VELCRO Brand Tape, Black 15ft

I did a project in a vintage camper using another brand and it just wouldn't hold. The hooks and loops stuck together fine but the glue backing would not stay attached to the ceiling and wall surfaces. I redid it using this VELCRO brand product and miles of vibration and rough roads later, it's still stuck.

The Velcro Brand Sticky Back Cut-to-Size Hook & Loop Fastener Tape Roll has helped me a lot with my art-crafts!!! The sticky Back tape adheres VERY GOOD on the wall where I hang my paintings...NOT NEEDING NAILS AND HAMMERS!! If you need more support - easy - cut more pieces, peel them, stick them on the wall and project and the job is done! My wife has tried on certain fabrics...she likes sewing ... and it works too. Works great for my use. I use it to mount network and telecom equipment to backboards, walls, under counters, etc. when hard mounting is not practical or desired. Works well, even in dusty, humid environments if used properly. I clean both surfaces with isopropyl alcohol first and make sure they are completely dry. Any dirt or moisture will make problems. Use at room temperature. It seems to work best if you put some pressure on it for a short time after adhering. Holds a considerable amount of weight. The roll is easy to use, cut and the strips are easy to handle. This stuff is an indispensable part of my toolkit. Highly recomment!

We purchased a soft screen door from another Amazon supplier but had to remove it for renovations. I needed a replacement Velcro strip, so I found this one. The size was perfect and it was very easy to install. I used it on a concrete surface, and one small section got loose after 1 month, but the rest is working fine. I recommend this product.

Nice Velcro strips. Nice that you can cut off the length you need which makes it very versatile. The sticky side isn’t very sticky, which makes it difficult to use and not hold well.

This Velcro with 5 Pounds holding power has been my go-to tape to use with my R/C Sailboat and Airplane hobbies. Every LIPO/LIFE battery and holders, small Receivers for planes and sailboatsare held in place Sail cases (outside and inside holders), wrapped around pencils and pens and other piece on writing boards keeps them in place. Wish it was still available in Red color, but black will do.

This stuff saves a tremendous amout of trouble when it comes to hanging little bits of equipment (like flash triggers) onto other equipment (like strobes/speedlights). I also made my own "speedstrap" (gel holder) simply by taking 1 1/2' of the tape and sticking the loop half of the tape onto the back of the hooks half (resulting in a strip with hooks on one side and loops on the other). If you need lots of these then you might try velcro cable ties, but I'm not sure how suitable they'd be for holding gels onto the front of a flash or other applications that don't involve cable management. Anyway, the sticky velcro can be used to make cable ties as well as faten other objects together. Serious photographers with lighting equipment will probably want to get 15' of this stuff. It'll probably get used up faster than you think. The only things I wouldn't use these for are certain applications that need a very tight hold. For applications where you need something to practually be glued down to something else, but still need to be able to remove it *sometimes*, Velcro Industrial Strength is much much better. I've used the industrial strength stuff to install some gadgets in my car and the things might as well be glued down, except for the fact that I can remove them (which takes some real force) for maintenance etc and put them back with the same glue-like level of hold.

Works really well on wood, but not so much on plastic.... Happy to have used it and would recommend it, but I'm looking for a bit more in the future.

I'll make this brief. Most important is that Velcro keeps increasing the price of hook and loop fasteners up to the sky. I have the super heavy duty velcro (wide product) from years ago, and this stuff if drastically more expensive. In short: the product still works well, as Velcro has maintained their quality, but the company seems to constantly give you more for less.
