I had 220V weigh scale purchased from India. I was looking for safe and reliable product. As it was related to electricity. After performing deep search and reading lots of review. I concluded to buy PYLE product. Product is nicely built and anyone can operate even who doesn't have enough technical knowledge. When I turn on the voltage convertor. The first thing impressed me is product is silent. No humming sound of transformer at all. That means transformer is built perfectly and no worry of over heating the product and no power losses. And this product can be used anywhere in the world. Input voltage selector link is already set to 110V US voltage. So no need to worry about it if you are in the US.

I bought it to use electronic devices that I bought from other countries.It was delivered perfectly in a very nice package.I had a hard time carrying because it is very heavy.It works smoothly without any problems.Yes there are some noice but its not much to bother me.Size is not small.It is really versatile product for me because I have many devices from another countries.

Purchased 2 of these and they functioned well right from the start. Easy to setup and no real issues with their function. The only problem I had was an extremely strong smell of electronics (much more than routine off gassing). I placed both in an outside window with a fan blowing through the side vents and in a few days the smell had reduced enough to be unnoticeable unless you were smelling it directly. After that it continued to reduce and no long has a detectable odor.

Works as described. I've been using it every day for 3-4 hours a day and I've had no issues at all. The description says it's portable and it is on the small side, but it's heavy. I would not recommend if you're traveling, if you're setting on a permanent place then I'll recommend this 100% great value for the money. I did noticed it did not come with a replacement fuse (not a big deal) aside from that, i have no complaints.

Product was delivered with a grounding prong broken off and a blown fuse and is unusable.

This is a wonderful choice for every home. You don't have to worry anymore because any appliance use 110 or 220V, whit this converter you can easily fulfill all your expectation,. easy to use and really functional.

i just got this in the mail today to plug in a pool filter pump i purchased a few months back on amazon, the pump packaged with the pool was for a European style two pin 220 plug (i’m in the US) it was too late to send it back so i thought i’d try this before i spent money on a new pump. it was very easy, simple instructions, plugged it in and was up and running in no time. i haven’t had it very long but so far it works as advertised. i would recommend this product

Everything about the build-quality is great, especially for a Chinese-made transformer. I opened this unit up (do not attempt unless you're qualified and / or comfortable around electricity) and discovered quality connections and wiring, as well as actual machine screws holding everything together (as opposed to wood screws common on lower-end units). Additionally, the transformer was clearly marked with a "QC PASSED" sticker on the back. Though, take Chinese "quality-control" with a grain of salt. However, upon testing with a multimeter, it's apparent that the incoming live (L) and neutral (N) wires are REVERSED. This is dangerous for a number of reasons. Most importantly, it means that all properly wired appliances plugged into EITHER the 110 or 220 outputs of this unit will have a LIVE voltage present on the neutral wire. Additionally, the 220 volt outlet will be supplying 220 volt split-phase power as opposed to 220 volt line-to-neutral when used in the step-up configuration. This means that BOTH the live and neutral side are carrying 110 volts relative to ground. So while there is still 220 present between the two, the voltages are reversed. This issue can be solved by cutting off the given plug and wiring in your own plug and switching the live and neutral with one another. Be aware, however, that this is with a United States type (NEMA 5-15P) plug. Also, be sure to check your output voltages relative to the incoming power to ensure how your transformer has been wired. It may be that only some of these units are wired incorrectly. So always check for yourself before plugging things in! Good luck folks and have a great day!

I just received the transformer. After installing it to power up my subwoofer I noticed the hum from the transformer (which is located in my entertainment console) is perceptible in my living room. If you don’t mind that the transformer is easy to set up. My only complaint is that I did not receive the 2 spare fuses as stated

One of the appliances bought from US is not working using this transformer.

Funciona bien, pero tiene un detalle, da toques en la parte superior, tengo otros y no pasa eso pero me sirve para lo que necesitaba
