Okusama wa Maho Shoji - Asaba Ureshiko 1/7 Scale PVC Figure

This tantalizing piece presents intriguing contrasts. She's a finely sculpted adult figurine provocatively but not distastefully clothed,who appears to be emerging like Botticelli's Venus from out of a child's whimsical dream. Her base, to which she attaches firmly with a shaped peg on her right foot, is in organic-looking soft pastels. The soft and pale, crescent-shaped object appears less like a phase of the moon than it does a slice of unripe melon. It blends nicely with the baby-blue, wavy tendrils beneath her boot. Her sweeping hair in pastel pink suggests a flower made of strawberry icing. Her tall boots, skin-tight bodice and opera gloves are painted in glossy, candy-cane red, and her warm skin color suggests a faint touch of apricot. All in all, this whimsically posed creature appears not unlike a sugary confection of some kind. She would make a very impressive cake-topper for a firm birthday cake, and an excellent gift for a post-adolescent daughter. Extending from her right hand is a fool at the end of a stick, which serves as a life-lesson for a child of either gender. Exceptional care seems to have been taken in the crafting of this figurine, especially considering its modest price. It came thoughtfully packaged in a sturdy, crush-resistant shipping box, and the product box within was wrapped in tissue to prevent its graphics from being marred by soil and friction. It's a wonderful buy, and I am not surprised to read that it has gotten some people started on collecting.

I bought this figure for my boyfriend who collects the "sexy" anime figures for this upcomming Christmas so he hasn't opened it yet, but I was very happy when she arrived! From ordering figures in the past for him I always worry about size for the price and of course quality. She is a great size, I think she'll be one of his bigger ones, shes very cute and well painted and the box is so funny, it has the usual front clear window to see her but in the back its got a clear window to see her bum! I am excited to give this to him, I know he'll love it. As far as sturdyness I dont know yet but he'll pretty much just open her and put her on his shelf, she won't be played with or anything. I am def. pleased!

I don't know too much about the SIF EX line, nor do I know about this character. All I know is this figure looks stunning. I just love the playful pose with her wand outstretched. The figure is over 9" high and features beautiful paint apps. The shimmering red on her bikini, boots, and arms just sparkle in the right light. Her anatomical features are well sculpted. She is not as seductively clothed as she appears and can be enjoyed by any age group. A beautiful display piece and a steal for $25. I should know; she retails for twice as much here in Japan.

This is a nice figure. It is a bit flashy, as is the base. I returned mine but you might like this style.

Absolutely beautiful PVC figure! This figure is definitely not a children's toy, since it has small parts like the wand she's holding. It's an adult collectible and meant to be display. I may not know the character, but seeing this figure makes me want to buy her because she looks magical standing on her wind of moon.

This is my very first PVC figure ever and I must say it will not be my last. If you are unsure about getting into collecting anime figures give this one a try, you can't beat the price.Also this figure is kinda sexy so it's really not for kids.

Agnes is one of the more colorful members of my little family /collection. The sculpturing of this figurine in excellent and she is clothed perfectly. I remove my figurines from the original box (I know, I should not do this, but I do no buy these for resale), and they go into a dust free glass cabinet. Ureshiko is a bit different that most of my collection but I love the pose she is in and she does add a flash of color to the collection. As with all this type of collectable, these are NOT children's toys, and in fact are rather unsuitable as far as I am concerned. My little Agnes here shows quite a bit of her good stuff and it is not for younger eyes. The price on this one is right and in fact is considerably less that I paid for her at a show. Am very happy with this one.

I bought this girl at this last years 2006 Comic-con convention.I was broke as it was but I just had to have her!I love her! She is one of my favorite figures. ^_^She is so cute and colorful, and her pose is adorable.I'm very happy with her. :)
