Works better than expected, given BT3.0 or higher.
I'm amazed at how this product turned out to be. I wanted a touch mouse because of the style and abscence of a fidgety scroll wheel. The connection is completely stable on my Asus T100 with win10 and BT4.0. This mouse is stated to be BT3.0, so I would recommend you have Bluetooth version 3.0 or higher to avoid compatibility issues, as well as install the latest driver/utility from Dell's website. With the utility there are a few configurable gestures and also a battery meter in the notification tray. Pairing is pretty straightforward. After initial pairing, just making sure to have the pc on first and turning the mouse on second provides an instant connection in my experience. All in all, this mouse is a perfect complement to Windows tablets and notebooks which have integrated BT, avoiding an ugly and impractical external USB dongle.

Prone to Bluetooth failing...however...
I am updating this review as of October 25th 2016I am a true customer and my review here is not tainted in any way. It's factual and based on the events which transpired after purchasing this mouse...Upon receiving this mouse I was very pleased with it. It's sleek design and colors went well with my current keyboard and laptop. I never had any issues with the touch scroll area...it was always very responsive. Connecting the mouse to my computer was also very easy. It came with a CD for drivers. Once installed my computer was able to easily see the mouse after placing it into it's pairing mode and connected without issue. From that point forward...it worked flawlessly and connected to my computer upon power-up without any issues. That's where the good news ends however...After just 44 days...the mouse failed on me. As stated in some of the reviews on here...my mouse had upped and stopped transmitting its Bluetooth signal. The Bluetooth function of the mouse had failed thus would no longer work on any device. It was a paperweight. The seller and Amazon wouldn't do anything because I had passed the initial 30 days. Advised to contact Dell directly because it has a warranty through them. I did...and after over a month of emailing back and forth, I am still waiting for a replacement. Turns out this mouse is not available directly through Dell any more. We came up with an alternate mouse that they do offer as a replacement however there has not been any movement on it being shipped out because my purchase was not directly through Dell...so it's slowing the process. As of the time of this updated review I am still waiting for the replacement to be shipped. My final verdict: Even though trying to get a replacement mouse for my apparent defective mouse through Dell directly has been a huge pain in the ass...and something I caution anyone on...I still love the overall look, feel, and functionality of this mouse. So much so...that I've decided to give this mouse one more shot. Since I've not received my replacement from Dell yet (and I'll likely receive the new one ordered before I do receive the replacement from Dell) I've decided to order this mouse again...this time however from a different seller. Furthermore...after going through recent events with the first one and the lack of response from Dell...I opted to purchase a 3 year warranty which Amazon offers: Assurant 3-Year PC Peripheral Protection Plan ($0-$49.99). By purchasing that warranty with the mouse it'll cover anything that happens to it...and if something does fail on it...I'm covered...and I don't have to go through the ridiculous run-around with Dell...only to get a replacement a month + later and it not even be the same mouse. The rundown: In a sense I still do recommend this mouse. If it doesn't fail on you and works like it should it's a great mouse. However...I STRONGLY RECOMMEND purchasing the 3 year warranty offered by Amazon just in case you run into similar issues as mine. It's usually $5 or under and after what I just went though...I feel it's so worth it. I'm hoping...my second one of these will survive much longer than the first.

The Perfect Mouse... If you love having a frustrating experience
I've had this mouse for a while now. I bought it to use with my chromebook. Setup and bluetooth connection work fine and for me rather reliably. Left and right click work as expected. There is no middle click. This is very unfortunate because I regularly use the middle click to open links in a new tab, and close tabs. The most irritating feature of this mouse is the scrolling. It will barely move at all, then all at once the mouse will shoot to the top or bottom of the page. This makes the mouse practically unusable for a webrowsing experience (and probably any thing else that isn't on a single page). I gave the mouse the benefit of the doubt and tested it on my actual desktop. I installed the drivers and even the mouse customization bloatware from dell. Even tweaking the settings the horrible scrolling behavior still persisted. It's an issue with the mouse, not the computers. Additionally uses of the touch features was terrible. They would randomly be recognized in normal use and move me back on webpages when that is not what I wanted. Then, whenever I intentionally tried to use a gesture it wouldn't be recognized. That in and of itself wouldn't warrant a 1 star rating, for the price I'm fine with touch gestures not working, it's the fact it's unusable as a mouse. The scroll wheel and middle click is essential in any modern computing environment. If I just wanted left and right click to be the only things that worked, I could go get the mouse for my computer from the 90s.

Why not?? Sexy and Slim!
First off let me start off by saying that paying $12 should b considered a steal. The mouse is sleek, maybe too sleek as such my big hands are not the most comfortable but i should get used to it. I have not even connected it to my laptop because its still in the mail but I have to my Asus Zenfone 2 on Lollipop and its tracking and precision is spot on. Not faced any connection issues so far. Also people complained about the internal battery needing to charge for 5 hrs before use. I can use mine while it charges so that should not make you hesitant. The touchwheel takes some getting used to but its not that steep of a learning curve. All in all, at this price point, you should buy it. Its a mega deal

This is a great mouse - depending on how much you pay for it. I wouldn't be as happy if i had paid $60. I only paid $15 and for that price YOU CAN NOT beat it! Sleek design and good functionality and really portable with great battery life. There is no dongle this is not an RF mouse it is bluetooth. I use it with my Surface Pro 3 and it is flawless! I would give it a 5 start rating if it were not for the retail price. I would be equally satisfied in paying up to $30 though.
