This is a 1/24 2011 Ford Mustang Nationwide Series stock car produced by Action! Finished in Grabber Blue with #11 meatball graphics on the front end and sides, it features a full diecast body, opening hood, free rolling wheels, and a detailed engine. The Ford Mustang became Ford's Car of Tomorrow for the NASCAR Nationwide Series in 2010, opening a new chapter in both Mustang's history and Ford's history. Unlike other racing series, the NASCAR vehicles are not based on production Mustangs, but are silhouette race cars with decals that give them a superficial resemblance to the production road cars. Carl Edwards won the first ever race with a NASCAR prepped Mustang on April 8, 2011 at Texas Motor Speedway.
