Good value
This was very good value. I haven’t actuality read it yet but type is fine. The half paper dust jacket is pointless and so I got rid of it straight away. The book looks a lot classier as a result.

A Timeless Classic with a Beautiful, Minimal Design!
This edition of Letters from a Stoic is truly a gem. The book has a good weight to it and feels substantial in hand, while the sleek and minimal design adds to its appeal. I really appreciate the simplicity – it lets the wisdom within shine without distraction. A must-read for anyone interested in Stoic philosophy!

This book is very well made. The lettering is very clear and the paper is coloring is easy on the eyes. Physically the book is easy to hold and read. The introduction by Donald Robertson is very informative and adds to the value of this edition. The translator is by Richard Mott Gummere from 1917. The translation is excellent and would clear to a contemporary reader. It is an excellent translation by the way and enjoyable to read. The book contains 64 of the 124 extant letters of Seneca. Some may see this a drawback. However, having 124 letters in one volume may make the book heavier and possibly uncomfortable to hold or travel with. Given the price for the quality, I think it is a good value.
