AmazonBasics Reusable Hard Sided Rectangular Ice Pack

The very first time I used these ice packs I Wondered why my soft drink cans were all slimy. Emptied the contents out of my cooler to find a bunch of slime in the bottom of it.. Threw them in the trash.

Seriously? I bought a set of large ice pack, why they filled differently? Poor quality control? , I will freeze them tonight to test its cold retention. Will update this review later.

Didn’t keep things that cold even in the yeti.

Took a chance on these because of the Amazon brand and low price point. They replace similar products made by Rubbermaid and Igloo.Used in a small (8-can) soft-sided cooler, don't expect these to last past a day or so. If you're just going on a day trip, and use all four, you should be fine.Also, when I froze them in a home freezer the first time, I could already see some warping/bubbles in the plastic, so a bit worried as to the durability. The more expensive ones I've used in the past had noticeable thicker plastic walls, but I guess that's to be expected at the price point...

I've had a 40qt coleman standard cooler for probably more than a decade, and I just recently purchased the coleman 40qt thermoelectric cooler for road trips (to eliminate ice usage), and these ice packs fit PERFECTLY in both coolers. The thermoelectric cooler even has some mounts for a shelf that you can move up and down, and these ice packs fit perfectly on those shelf mounts (I wouldn't put much weight on them, but they do a good job dividing up food you want to keep at various temperatures.

When these arrived they were larger than I expected, which is my bad since the dimensions were clearly written in the description. They freeze up very quickly and hold the freeze for the day with no troubles at all. I’m using them in a thermal travel tote and they work fantastic in fact I only really need one to keep the tote at a cold enough temp to travel for a 10 hour day out. The quality is spot on, these are not cheaply made, they are strong. Would purchase again and highly recommend.

I bought these for my kids coolers and they love them. I think you need to use several to be effective. I use this and solid ice and ice cubes. Perfect.

I did purchase these to fit into a 6 pack size hard sided lunch cooler, with one I could fit 4 soda size cans and the ice pack and that was it, my pb&j and yogurt cup did not fit and the lid would not close if I placed them upright. Went back to using 3 trays of ice cubes. These would work fine in my larger soft sided cooler that tends to leak if I put ice in it, but for my sturdy Rubbermaid lunch cooler they are just the wrong proportions with what I need to pack for the day. This is my fault, I should have measured better beforehand.
