Ok, so this is a sizeable investment for what essentially is 'just' a guitar tuner. I thought long and hard about throwing away my hard-earned on something that for only a few bucks does the same job. But does it? Well, no. Because it does so much for with ease. If you're into repairing or restoring guitars, removing and re fitting or fitting new strings this will be your best friend, because it has in-built 3 speed string winder. It sport a vibrating (ooo-err) metronome, as well as the tuner itself that automatically tunes up your instrument to a high degree of accuracy, with in-built alternative tuning, or, with the app you can create your own. Does it actually work? Yes, although for perfectionist who may have perfect pitch, you may need to fine tune by ear - particularly that pesky G string. Is it good value? If you have one guitar, and are not gigging, just playing for your own enjoyment, then maybe not, but it is fun and cool to show off to your friends. If you are a store owner and have walls of guitars, then yes, its a worthwhile tool. Battery life is excellent, and you recharge it using a standard USB lead. Final thoughts, well made and reliable, making stringing up breeze. Love it.

I have a long term illness and although easy for most folk I find tuning and restringing my guitars exausting and taxing. This automatic tuner has been a God send for me, all I have to do is switch it on, select my tuning and just wack it onto the tuning pegs and let it do it's thing. The build quality is very good, it has a nice, bright, large display and is not too heavy. I have found it to be very accurate (specially on the high accuracy setting in selectable in settings), reliable and consistant. You can also select diferent tunings which is a useful function and the unit also has a memory to memorise diferent tunings that you may have for specific guitars that you may own. I have found the battery life to be very good, I use this tuner at least 4 or 5 times a week and get a good few months between charges. The motorised winding funtion is also a very useful and an essential function for me, saving so much time and energy replacing strings, there are various speed settings for this too. A few years later and this tuner has become an essential bit of kit for me, yes it comes at a price but for me it was worth every penny.

Love it, it makes tuning so much quicker, only issue is once every 30/40 times it won’t find the right note, and will completely downtime the string, like it has a brain fart, but a quick reset and it’s fine. Plus I love the auto wind feature, lets me change my strings quickly

I have always tuned by guitars by ear. Even on stage it was the quickest way. However, tinnitus and general hearing loss have made this process very difficult now I’ve hit 70. This gadget is brilliant. It tunes my electric and acoustic guitars perfectly. I can still tune pretty close by ear, but this thing tweaks it to perfection. It’s not a cheap thing, but if you want to get this best possible tune in the shortest possible time, it’s the winner. Easy to use - other than the awkward twisting your hand the read the bottom set of strings - but that’s down to the design of the guitar head not the tuner. Definitely worth buying if you are either a keen amateur player or a paid musician. 🎼 🎶

Looks the part,we'll constructed ! You get an App , Haven't played with it as yet as only received it today,& it's on charge! The only thing is, had to buy a case separately, which considered,that it's £100 quid,they could inc the case Should work on all my guitars except The Bass. Cheers

I was very sceptical about this, but I purposely detuned 2 of my guitars, 1 acoustic and 1 electric, then used it to detuned them both. I have to admit I was truly impressed, they were both tuned to perfection, no guessing. An absolute must for any stringed instrument player

I was initially quite impressed by the Roadie 3 - it seemed accurate enough and easy to use, however it did seem to struggle with the B string. The deal breaker (literally) was the first time I used it in a live situation. I was stood chatting to an audience of around 500 explaining that I was quickly tuning up, when the Roadie 3 went fubar and snapped the B string. Fortunately I have other guitars on stage but it made me look a proper t*at! This product is far too expensive to fail like this and in my opinion a long way from suitable for professional use. I’d avoid this like the plague!

So I hung back on giving any reviews because there are already many good reviews up here, and I wanted to spend time going through everything this tool can do. Really anyone who is at the beginning stages of learning to play guitar, please only use this tuner as a reference guide. Its important that you learn to tune your guitar by ear. Use this guage with caution using its string winder function it can wind string pretty quick depending on where you have the speed set and end up snapping the string or further damage to you or the guitar. Should this ever happen pull the tuner off the machine head. Be very careful if re-stringing your hands or fingers are not trapped beneath the string where the winder could wind up fast, damage to hand or worse no fingers. What an excellent tool this is and yes it does tend to get stuck on a G, now and again, but otherwise if that happens I just remove and start again. Love this unit. I charged this 2 weeks ago, play everyday for hours.. Still doesn't need charging, even though i've done three guitar string changes it still doesn't require charging its still 70% charged. Definitely worth the cash. Accuracy I've checked against my Peterson Strobe Tuner.. bang on the button if your not a flea! Yes awesome thus far.Rock N Roll

Très facile d'utilisation très belle fabrication formidable pour accorder différents instruments je l'ai payé à un excellent prix chez Amazon vu le prix chez les concurrents je le recommande sans hésitation. Le seul bémol c'est pour la prise en main lorsque le tourniquet tourne sur les mécaniques pas facile à tenir

Realmente es un dispositivo que ayuda a afinar la guitarra de las personas ciegas. Si eres profesor de guitarra te lo recomiendo para que tus estudiantes ciegos puedan tener acceso a este producto que les facilitará su afinación y también para las personas normovisuales.

Werkt heel erg goed! Ik gebruik het om mijn ukeleles te stemmen. Batterij gaat heel lang mee. Zou 5 sterren krijgen moest het ook alle vormen van ukelele ondersteunen. Nu is het enkel mogelijk voor gewone of met lage G maar 5- of 8-snarige gaat nog niet. 12-snarige gitaar gaat dan weer wel tot grote vreugde van mijn vriend 😉. Geen spijt van mijn aankoop!
