This stuff is amazing. You absolutely need to own this product. I remember my mom using this product when I was really young- I'm talking elementary school. I'm in my early/mid twenties and one day I realized that this product was amazing when my mom used it years ago. Aveda isn't carried around me, so I opted to purchase it via Amazon. I received it a few days later and I remembered why this product is a holy grail item! You can basically use it for anything. Today, I decided to throw a little bit in my hair after the shower to tame the frizz. No heat necessary. However, it is an AMAZING pre-blow dry creme. It will hydrate your hair, get rid of the frizz, and protect it. You'll see and even smell the difference. The fragrance is great and long lasting. Also, I know this product isn't the cheapest, but a little goes a long way. In fact, you need to be really careful and only use a tiny bit. Using anymore than a drop may lead to a greasy mess. Be sure to apply it little by little, or else you'll have to wash your hair out and blow dry it again!

I have been using this product for years! My hair is thick, sometimes greasy and often frizzy. This is the ONLY product I’ve ever tried where it doesn’t make my hair more greasy yet calms the frizz away. When I use this cream my hair becomes silky smooth. I use a pea size amount, mainly on the ends, right after I shower. Then after I towel dry my hair I add another pea size amount. It also helps keep my hair protected from the heat of an iron or hair dryer. I highly recommend this product!

I thought this would be similar to the rice oil gloss which unfortunately Aveda discontinued. Not the same at all but, I find the liquid too messy.

I've been using this cream for at least 8 yrs. One tube lasts me about 15 months, but I don't use it daily. I have short medium course gray hair. It is thick and slightly frizzy. A dime's worth of cream emulsified between your palms and worked in throughout the hair gives it instant shine, reduces frizz noticeably and helps with styling. Sometimes I apply it to wet hair and blow dry. It's rather expensive so I am careful how often I use it. I recommend it highly.

I've used this product for years. But now it is very watery. The photo in the listing shows a nice firm dab. That's not that I experienced recently. I have ordered this twice lately and both times the product came out way too fast and a thin consistency. The first time I thought it was just a bad batch. I am returning it and will have ti find a better product.

This product smells great, adds light hold, makes your hair shiny, and smooths down all your frizzies. I use it to hold wispy bits in place when I have a perm, and I use it to keep bangs out of my face when I'm wearing my hair straight. It's great for curly, chemically treated hair as well as natural straight hair. I really love it.

What I like most about this is the way it smells & it works well as a hair "lotion" of sorts that helps retain styling. I put it on while my hair is damp & braid it or twist into a bun until it dries. The wavy style I achieve through this lasts much longer when I use this cream before & after styling. A little goes a long way, so a bottle lasts for several months.
