These were easy to install myself and fit perfectly on our 2017 Subaru Impreza 5-door. Combined with JetStream bars for perfect system. Install took a little bit to get the hang of but I was able to get it done by myself in less than a couple hours and most of that time was probably me trying to get everything perfect. I also took the time to install the sks locks to secure them to the car and I couldn’t be happier. Install would go much faster with a second set of hands. Don’t forget to buy the right landing pads for your car.

Installed these on a 2015 Mazda3 hatchback, and I'm thrilled I picked these over the oem bars. I installed them with the landing pad, skyline towers, and windshield. The yakima system is expensive but you get what you pay for.Cons:The installation was a bit of a pain and the directions could have been better.Pros:Once installed this thing was solid. It's clearly not going anywhere. There is no flex, rattle or movement of any kind.I didn't try without the windshield but with it the wind noise is minimal if any.Doesn't interfere with the sunroof at all.

Alignment is crucial but if that is spot on the product is great. Don't forget the locks! They are valuable and people that know could easily grab them off the roof.

There were three separate components for a complete roof rack system I had to buy for my 2016 Ford Explorer Sport. This was only one of them. Amazon only had two of the components. Make sure you check with Yakima for the correct parts. Well made and easy to install if you watch the videos. I also opted for the locks which gives a piece of mind leaving them on the car without being stolen.

These towers are a great replacement for the old ones that we had used for the past 10 years. Make it easy to remove and reinstall the roof rack as needed. Fast shipping at a good price.

They work fine and are easy to put on and take off. I’m not crazy about how high the rack ends up being with the landing pad and the towers. My previous Outback was lower and the yakima towers for it were lower. I liked that much better. Now the outback is higher and the towers are higher making it almost the same height as other suvs - I hate that. But they’re easy to remove so I only use them when I’m carrying 2 canoes or a canoe and a bike, or similar. Otherwise I prefer the factory rack - I can’t believe I am saying that! I’ve had Yakima racks on my cars for almost 20 years and have always loved them.So the quality is good. They work fine. I don’t love them. But it’s not their fault. I think it’s because of the setup with the 2018 outback.

I really love the design and quality, but they seem a little expensive.

Used these along with the Yakima Core Bars and Landing Pad 22 to install on my '17 Mazda6. Install was quick and easy. My only gripe is that locks are not included with these and have to be purchased separately. My car spends a lot of time in NYC and I'd rather have some protection than none. Otherwise I'm happy w my purchase.
