Very nice gadget. Helped multiple times for small and big meetings. Two things that it doesn’t have (and probably too much to ask from that device at this price): 1) making mesh with several speakers for big meetings, 2) charge phone without need to switching on the device. This quality of this Bluetooth speak is excellent and in bar with other products from Anker I've owned. The Bluetooth speaker comes with a hard carry case for protected storage and ease of travel. Its connects with USB-C port (cable included) and works as a power bank as well via a USB-A port. The packaging is elegant and feels premium, the same also applies on the speaker built quality and material. The speaker works well with MS Skype, MS Teams, Zoom, and All Smart Phones but does not support native support for Alexa, Siri, or Google Assistant. The battery life is excellent, and speak is loud with 6 microphones that capture voice from all directions. I didn't like that the speaker didn't come with a charger adapter, only the cable. The mobile app (SoundCore) from Anker doesn't do much aside from updating firmware and few options, one of which (Single Person Mode, or Multi Person Mode) is not clearly described. The speaker is not a good option for music unless you're going to play some chill office music at the background. The highlight of my experience though is the exceptional service I've got from AnkerDirect Team here in UAE, their prompt support for me to deal with a faulty device was superior and complemented my Anker device experience.

Good product/fast connect/clear mic and volume

I am so impressed with this speaker. It feels good, looks good and the sound is wonderful. I struggled to hear from my computer speaker so I bought this speaker and boy, wish I had found it sooner. Just a huge difference. Love it!

Looks great and solid.. but has issues with mic pickup .. people at the other end of the call keep complaining about sound quality. our meeting room is very small designed for 4 people only. but still its disappointing

Yes it’s not defective

Currently I am working from home, so I bought this device as I have to attend many conference calls. Using the bluetooth connection, the sound is fine, but the microphone disconnects in the middle of calls in many occasions, a big inconvenient if you are in a meeting (this happens both using Skype for Business and Cisco Webex). Using the USB connections, for whatever reason, my office desktop (windows 10) cannot handle the speaker. It works fine using a Chromebook. I contacted the Anker customer service, and they thought the device is faulty, but I did not feel confident with the process they suggested to exchange it, and the communication was slow: basically you receive a reply after 24 h, so when you have exchange 3 mails... is four days, with not a lot of progress. Finally, I decide to return the device using the Amazon return service. ***UPDATE*** It seems the problem with the mic is not caused by the PowerConf. I bought two phonespeakers of different brands and have the same problem, so the problem seems to be related with the drivers installed on the Windows 10 office laptop, that I cannot update, I was using. Anker customer service contacted me again and sent me a device, in order to try it again. I have used it with a Chromebook and my Android phone and it works very well, the people on the other side of the line hear me with no problem. It doubles up as speaker and the sound quality is good enough (much better than the speakers of the phone or the laptop). In addition, the size and shape makes it very convenient to take it everywhere.

I absolutely love the build quality, but that doesn't take away the fact that it's not doing what I need it to do: have a normal Teams conversation with 2+ people at my side "of the table". 1) somehow a persisting lag is introduced between video and sound. 2) the mics pic up way to much low frequency sounds (according to multiple people at the "receiving end" in multiple calls), making it hard to actually hear what is being said.

Works great. Quick Bluetooth connection. Crystal clear sound. And doubles as a Bluetooth speaker for music if you want. More than powerful enough for our full boardroom with 14 seats.
