biggest and fastest flash drive I've ever used--this is the top of the line. I have a previous SanDisk Extreme Pro that was 128GB and was very happy with it, but it was getting full, so when the 256GB version came out, I bought it. Other reviews mentioned the new bigger one was a little slower than the previous 128GB model, but I found it's actually a bit faster. (Both are excellent!) The new one is black, as opposed to the previous silver one, but to my pleasant surprise, the black one is in a metal case, not plastic, just like the previous model. Very solid feel, and very easy to attach to a key ring and carry around in your pocket. I keep it on my key ring, so I can sync files at work, then sync the same files with my home computer. With 256GB to play with, you can have most or all of your hard drive backed up to your flash drive.

Fast reading and fast writing but little bit less than what they have mentioned. During working it becomes hot.

This is very fast. I am running ubuntu 20 operating system booting from USB 3.1 and it works perfectly.

I like it is because of the speed of transferring data from my computer to drum drive and then to printers or other laptop for work or school purposes by using USB. I dislike it due to this drum drive doesn't come with type-C adapter. Because sometimes I download some documents from my mobile phone cannot transfer data to these drum drive by using type-C.
