perfect fit
We bought this mat to place in a granite sink. The sizes given are exact so fitted perfectly. There are rubber feet which give excellent grip. This is a nice looking and practical addition to our new kitchen and we highly recommend this product.

OXO Good Grips sink protector.
Bought to replace my original plastic covered metal sink protector that was supplied with the sink. It's a little too small so allows movement and float's slightly when water is poured away from a bowl. It is definitely better than the mat's that lay on the bottom of the sink but is expensive for the money. I also wouldn't think it big enough for more than a very few items if used as a drainer on the side of the sink.

A good mat that will protect sink well
To start with, it is in grey colour and looks decent and nice. It feels solid with some feet underneath which gives some space between mat itself and the sink - this is extremely useful as all the oily water can flow to the drain well and mat stays relatively clean. The size I bought is large, well , it is still seems small for my big single bowl sink (80cm), but Ok to use for putting pans and pots. It does give a good protection to the sink. Have used it for over a month and it did not stained (yet) and easy to clean. I have also put hot pans on it, didn't burn it. Will see how long it can last. So far, a good buy.

Excellent design and a good quality mat for a modern sink, and much better than using a plastic bowl
Rather than use a plastic bowl to protect your sink and crockery a mat is much more practical as it takes up less room. This is an excellent design with good clearance underneath for allowing crumbs etc drain away. It is soft and should cushion any dropped mugs. It is well made and looks like it should last. I think as a drainer it is a little low to allow good airflow but as a sink mat it is the best one I have seen. It looks smart but might look a bit too modern for a traditional style kitchen.

Seems to be good quality.
Right now I'm using it above the dish drain portion of my sink (I have a dishwasher and only hand wash a few things and don't like using a dish draining rack) because when I place dishes there, the water doesn't drain well (too much metal surface between the groves). This allows the dishes to drip dry. Eventually, I plan to replace the sink and use this in the sink.
