Pretty good value
Comic book collecting is rising in cost all the time and getting into a new series or arch can be really hard to do. This compendium is great as it collects issues in one convenient package without breaking the bank. It's great for those that want to start collecting on a budget.

Patchwork Quilt of Stories
I don't think the writers knew where they were going when they started, and seem to be discovering it as they go along. When you don't know the story's background, and you let Grant Morrison get involved, it will not end well. Grant Morrison thinks he's clever, but tries too hard by half, inevitably making the mythology too complicated and the story disjointed. But he didn't make it nearly as bad as the guy he handed it off to. They are trying to flesh out the Spawn mythology, but they've just made a mess.

I love this series
I love this series. There is no darker character than spawn. He is the perfect anti- hero, bad ass, and if you mess with him he will hurt you. The story line is interesting. Spawn has to try to defeat malbogia (devil) while at the same time he is trying to see his wife again. Will defiantly check out the rest of the comics. For anyone who likes dark stories and heroes that are not quit heroic.

Deeper than expected
I always thought of Spawn as being a very serious comic and only dealt with Hell, Heaven, and Earth. There's a lot more going on, I'm pleasantly surprised

Re-live the moment!
So all of your card-stock supported, plastic wrapped copies of spawn are hidden away/stored but you want to revisit the beginnings of Al Simmons and are unsure what to do? Buy this little book and treat it nice and dirty! ;-) If you know the story and your comic books are put away, as mine are, go ahead, spend the 10 bucks or so and enjoy this little comic collection.

Spawn Origins Volume 3 Review
This collects issues #15-20. The first issue is the second half of the fight between the clown and medieval spawn. The next three issues deals with Spawn fighting the first redeemer. The last two issues deal with Spawn and Harry Houdini. All are great stories to read. Recommend to any spawn fan.

Bad delivery/packaging
The comic it's self is great but unfortunately on arrival the packaging was battered which has caused a lot of bends and marks on the book which is very disappointing.
