Ehrlich gesagt hatte ich keine besonders hohen Erwartungen. Aber dennoch muss ich sagen, dass ich positiv überrascht bin.Als ich die Schutzhülle ausgepackt habe, habe ich sofort die Folie überprüft, weil ich gelesen hatte, dass diese nicht richtig verklebt ist. Und siehe da: die Folie war an einigen Stellen lose. Kurz habe ich überlegt, ob ich das Etikett für die Rücksendung sofort ausdrucken soll und die Hülle sofort wieder an Amazon zurück schicken soll. Aber ich habe es erstmal gelassen und die Schutzhülle trotzdem an mein MacBook Pro geklemmt.Und siehe da: alles hat gut gepasst. Der Zusammenbau war denkbar einfach und war in kürzester Zeit erledigt. Nichts wackelt. Die Folie wird zwischen Computer und Hülle festgeklemmt, also sind die schlecht verklebten Stellen nicht mehr zu sehen und die Folie hält.Eine Sache empfinde ich zwar nicht als störend aber ein wenig übertrieben. Und das sind die Gummifüsse. Die sind für die Standfestigkeit wirklich gut und der Computer rutscht so gut wie gar nicht mehr. Aber die Gummifüsse tragen doch sehr auf und machen das jetzt eh schon dickere MacBook in der Schutzhülle noch dicker.Das zusätzliche Gewicht finde ich völlig in Ordnung. Der Computer wird schwerer. Das ist klar. Aber nicht so schwer, das man ihn nirgends mehr hin mitschleppen möchte.Bei der Optik muss jeder selber wissen, ob einem die Schutzhülle gefällt. Ich finde sie ganz cool.Aber wie bei meinem neuen iPad Pro (siehe Rezension über Hülle von Supcase ohne Stifthalter) geht es mir vorrangig um den Schutz. Danach kommen Optik und Gewicht.Von den Schutzeigenschaften kann ich sagen, dass die Hülle für mich eher ein Schutz vor Kratzern ist, als ein Schutz vor einem Sturz. Keine Ahnung ob die Hülle vor einem schwereren Aufprall schützt. Ich würde es nicht versuchen.Fazit: auf den ersten Eindruck gut. Der Test über einen längeren Zeitraum wird zeigen, ob doch noch Schwächen auftreten. Ich werde berichten.

I like this case. While it adds quite a bit of bulk to my otherwise sleek and thin MacBook Pro 13", it does feel more secure and protected than anything else I've used in the past. The one thing I'm not particularly fond of with this case however is the way the clear side panels are designed, they seem to be stuck on with a tar-like glue but are not adhered on all edges. So while I was putting it on, it seemed like they might fall off or shift at some point with the lack of glue on all of the edges. Additionally the glue appears to be sloppily applied. Otherwise I am happy with the case so far, but that particular design flaw prevents me from scoring it higher, perhaps it was simply a manufacturing flaw on the one I received. One positive thing that I'm curious about is how the inner shell of the case is designed, it has a perforated honeycomb design that would appear to be shock absorbent and I would assume this may be to help with venting any additional heat the MacBook produces. That was one of the things I liked but I'm not certain if it does actually make a difference at this point. Once I've had the opportunity to use the case more with regular wear and tear, I will add any additional thoughts.

It feels a sturdy product, but not sure how it would perform in a drop test as there is not a lot of material between the outer edge of the laptop and the case. It feels well built and connects securely, so it should prevent some damage. A missed opportunity is to have the lid clasp down to the lower half, therefore in a fall the screen won't bounce open and potentially break the hinges.The gaps for the ports are well sculptured and keep them easily accessible.

J’ai enlevé des étoiles pour la simple raison que je n’ai pas eu à testé son efficacité, j’espère d’ailleurs que cela n’arrive pas car je ne voudrais en aucun cas que mon MacBook tombe par terre,Par contre évidemment que le look n’est pas terrible, mais finalement pas aussi « laid » que je pensais et puis s’il peut protéger et éviter qu’en cas de « poisse » mon ordi ne se casse alors je dis « oh les cœurs » et vous le recommande.En tous les cas il s’emboîte très très bien à première vue cela doit être une bonne coque.

I love the form factor of the new MBP but my greatest fear is getting the body scratched. This case has provided me with the protection I require. The Material of construction around the case (the bumper part) feels good and the fit is extremely secure. There are no creaks when using the case. The centre part is actually a thin translucent plastic and could have been of a better material. The edges of the centre plastic sheet are not stick to the bumper. I had read somewhere that this is a design aspect and not a flaw in the case.As of writing this review, there were no other cases available for this computer so I had no option but to get this. The product his very overpriced comparing to the one sold in US for US$34.99.
