Adventure 20 Car Pack, Multi

HIGHLY RECOMENDED 50 different individually carded Matchbox models shipped in a labeled outer case. All the vehicles were different, there were no duplicates in the case, although there was a slight overlap of vehicles from the 20 count set (this is to be expected). Overall an awesome selection and a great way to kick off a new collection. Shipped in the marked Mattel factory case so if you're buying it as a gift make sure to choose that option. Vehicles were each individually carded on short cards and this package is great to use as individual gifts or prizes. There was one trailer and 49 vehicles in the box I received with a nice mix of (mostly) real models and (some) fantasy cars in proportion to the overall Matchbox line. The individual carded vehicles arrived in perfect condition. The case is well packed at the Mattel factory. This is an excellent way to buy a lot of Matchbox cars without the hassle of 'peg hunting'. The only negative aspect is that it is obviously a blind buy and there is no provision for choosing which factory packed assortment you receive.

Something for everyone is what I would describe this package. My pictures probably speak for themselves: Pic 1. What I received 2. 3 of the "heavy" vehicles from the package. 3 & 4. My collection of cars with some of what I got included in. Having read a few horror stories on the reviews here about how people got duplicates and sets they did not like, I think I've gotten lucky already. Though the temptation to order another set is there I don't think I will be doing so. There are modern cars and old cars, heavy industrial vehicles as well. That's why I said this set has something for everyone. My son's of nearly two years eyes lit up when he saw the set. I've taken out a few cars as well to add to my collection; I don't think he'd noticed a difference. Hahaha. What I really love about Matchbox cars - which I think are only one step in terms of detailing below Majorette is that the wheels roll extremely smoothly much better than any other brand out there and they are great for racing down our house corridor. Also, Matchbox uses real ACTUAL cars and the year and model of car is written below each car. Much better than Hot Wheels who's fictitious cars bear no resemblance to anything actually made on this Earth.
