Works better than expected.
This adapter works great with the OTC Fuel Injector Cleaner tool. I bought the OTC tool and needed a fitting to connect it to my car intake manifold and fuel line. The actual OTC 7666 Decarbonizing Adapter is constructed better than the version shown in the picture, with the hose nipple end being brass and the crimps on the clear tubing being a smooth all around ferrule.The nipple will fit inside multiple sizes of fuel line hose with 5/16" being the smallest. The intake manifold nipple I had to connect to was about 3/16" so I made up an adapter hose by heating a piece of vacuum hose and stretched it so the nipple would fit into it so I could use the decarbonizing fluid on the engine. For fuel injector cleaning the adapter nipple fit inside my disconnected fuel hose and was sealed fine when I tightened the hose clamp on it. The clear adapter tubing withstood the 30psi fuel pressure fine.The adapter works great and is necessary since you need to see when the decarbonizing fluid stops leaving the OTC tool and can stop the engine. It is helpful bonus to be able to use it for the fuel injector cleaning too. The adapter seems kind of expensive since it is just a couple of $3 adapters joined with 25 cents of clear tube but it is necessary.

For Use With Discontinued Product
I purchased this 7666 Decarbonizing adapter to use with my OTC fuel injection service setup (7448 canister) and 6550 PRO (which is a fantastic setup). Unfortunately, I cannot find the 7904A Dkarbonizing fluid anywhere. All the parts houses say it has been discontinued. After a call to OTC, OTC did verify the cleaning fluid in fact had been discontinued, and could not offer me any alternative products to use. So in the end, this adapter is for use with a product that is currently not available.

Works very well with the OTC6550PRO fuel injection kit.Allows easy way to clean intake runners. Stores easilyin the fuel injection kit molded box.
