These lanterns are GREAT!
I love these small lanterns - I have a wide variety of tent lights and lanterns and by far these are the best in the small lantern category. During power outages, I use them to light small spaces (bathrooms, hallways, stairwells), place them in rooms not being used just to have illumination, and of course in my tent when camping. They are surprisingly bright for such a small unit - they will illuminate a large room (500 sq ft) so you don't bump into anything and can even read by them (in my tent the light hangs 'prox 4' above my head when laying down). Run time is great even on high - haven't put a stopwatch on them but know I used them on a 5-night trip for a couple hours every night without re-charging. If you're looking for a lantern to brighten a large room to play cards or something like that, then you'll need a higher lumen product. The magnetic and hangers are useful to gain height which helps to illuminate a larger area versus setting them on a counter. I sure wish someone would come up with a lightweight, cost effective, telescoping tripod holder for interior lanterns. Most tripods are made for cameras; they can be used for lanterns but they're bulky and don't reach high enough to be effective, plus they're expensive. All in all, these are the bomb!

Small but Mighty x10
I have now purchased 10 of these as gifts and to put in the RV and vehicles. Great product! Originally. I purchased the LE Rechargeable LED Camping Lantern, 3000mAh Power Bank, 280lm, 3 Lighting Modes actually for a neighbor who seemed always have issues with LED rechargeable lifetime. I researched and found this light, and read all the reviews, so already expecting it to be small form factor, but overall everyone seemed happy with it. The light arrived and I had my neighbor open it, and man, it is small, fits easily in the palm of my hand. No instructions, which had also been reviewed, but pretty easy to figure out... Press on 1x for battery status, 2x for High, 3x for Low, and 4x for SOS. The attached USB cable for charging is conveniently and solidly stowed and easy to use. The USB output port has a sealed rubber cover and the entire lantern should be okay in indirect rain. I pressed the on button to high and immediately impressed with light brightness, uniformity of illumination, and everyone in the room goes "wow! I want one". I have an engineering background and the quality of the build is quite good, has decent weight to it with the 3AH battery, which can charge another USB device in emergency. The magnets on base are really strong, and the metal hang hooks although small, are solid. I put both hooks up and slide my finger through them and cup hand around housing to comfortably navigate holding the light. So not much run time yet but at this price point and immediate performance noted, will be buying more for the rv and truck! It was dark when my neighbor took her light home and I watched as she walked home, not street lights, and could see a nicely illuminated path from my front porch. She walked onto her property about 100 yards down from me, and I was impressed with what I could see, lit up around her. A really nice area lantern. I called her when she got home, and she said she was very impressed. Seems a great choice.

Many uses, super bright spotlight, magnetic base and hooks
I have four of these lanterns now. I keep one beside for power outages or just for wandering in the night. They are also great for hanging in the camping tent. Use them for home repairs too - under your sink, electrical work, under your car hood, in closets, dog walks, etc. The battery will last all night on low. The spotlight beam is surprisingly bright. I also appreciate the magnetic base and versatile hooks.

Outstanding, small USB-C charged camp light!
When I finally got around to replacing our camp lights with a product that uses rechargeable batteries, I wanted something that would be charged using a USB-C connector so that I need only ONE charger that works with EVERYTHING -- my laptop, my phone, and every other electronic gizmo in my life. This camp light fit the bill perfectly. It charges with a USB-C cable. It is small so it doesn't take up much room in the camp box but at the same time it lasts forever and is quite bright on its high setting. It can either provide a broad light covering a whole area, or a regular flashlight beam. There are several brightness settings, and also a safety flasher. On the back there are two small magnets so it can attach to any ferrous metal surface. There are also two hooks on the back for securing the light with a velcro strap or rope. The USB-C charging port is on the back under a little rubber protective cover. Under this cover is also a USB-A OUTPUT; I've not used this so I have no idea how much current it can put out or for how long, but in a pinch this could be a way to charge a phone or whatever. We like this camp light so much that I am about to buy a few more for around the house, for emergency preparedness, and to illuminate my barbecue in the back yard during the darker months.

Works well, design could use some tweaking.
It's bright, small, and light, and works well. I do think the design could be tweaked a bit to make it perfect. The charging port and buttons that control it are on the bottom, which is a hindrance in some situations. If it is magnetized to something, you have to pick it up to access the buttons. The 'globe' of the lamp is pretty shallow, so it's not great at illuminating a picnic table if sitting on the table facing upwards. Some portable camping lanterns have pop-up silicone globes which do a better job of casting light across a table when placed in the center, such as the UST Spright lanterns. But this one is much brighter than the Spright, and if you have a good place to hang it, it will illuminate the area better. As other reviews have noted, its dim mode is not dim enough. It really needs a much, much lower dim mode that could sip battery and last for days and days. It has three modes: very bright, bright, and flashing (a useless feature). A true dim mode or red or amber light option would be much better. I question whether having a permenantly attached USB cable is a good idea. I think having a micro USB port would be better. Overall, I prefer the design of the UST Spright rechargable version, even if it isn't as bright - it has the collapsing globe, a dimmer mode, an amber color mode, and the globe glows in the dark after the lamp is turned off. Here's a link to the Spright to compare: https://www.amazon.com/UST-Collapsible-Resistant-Recharge-Emergency/dp/B01MRCSC06/ But if sheer brightness is more important to you, this lantern wins in that category. Though I think it could be improved, I knew these things before I bought it, and still think it is a good item. It is small and bright and can serve as a battery pack to charge other stuff.

Pint sized power
My husband and I were taking a three day weekend road trip we were doing to South Dakota. We were camping outside the Badlands one of the nights and all were were missing from our gear was a lantern. I didn't want to spend too much money on one in case my husband ended up not liking camping. We found this and determined it was small enough that it wouldn't take up valuable space in the back of the car and was cheap enough. WOW- this thing packs a powerful punch! We did not expect it to be nearly as bright as it was even with the LEDs. It has three settings: very bright, bright, and SOS. We have usually used the bright setting because very bright is almost too much. If you have this and are ever lost in the middle of the night, there is no way that the SOS setting would not be able to be seen its that powerful. We also like that it can be hung up. We hung it at the top of our tent and it was like being right next to an LED sun. It was brighter than our living room. Another benefit is that it can be charged and you dont have to worry about batteries. If we needed to, we could have plugged the USB in to one of the cigarette lighters and charged it up. There are also four green lights to let you know how much battery is left. The main reason my husband wanted this though is because he could charge his phone off of it while we slept in the tent rather than relying on battery packs that may or may not give up during the night. When we aren't using this lantern for camping, we have it stuck on our refrigerator with the magnetic top. Easy to grab if the power ever were to go out at home.

One of the coolest lights I have ever found. Seriously this thing is COOL!
Pro's: - So much utility in this product- lantern & a power bank all in one - Much brighter than any of my other lantern lights - Magnets and rings make it easy to mount in a variety of situations Con's: - A bit heavy Ok, let me start by saying that I own 3 other lantern type lights. Of all of my lantern lights, this is by far my favorite. It is super bright- much brighter than any of my other lanterns. It just has so much utility to it too. Having its own power bank built right into it to charge my other items is an awesome feature. On a weekend hike, I can forego hauling an extra power bank to charge my phone. This will do that job for me just fine. This is a super handy feature to have! I also like its built in magnets and rings on the top. The magnets make it great for sticking on the sides of metal shelves or up under the hood of the car if you are working on the engine and need extra light. The top rings are great for mounting the ring while camping. They allow you to hang it from tree branches or loops inside your tent. Again, this light just has so much utility. The only downside to this light is that it is a bit heavy. This is due to the fact that it has a built in power bank. It is not super heavy to be bothersome. However, it is not going to be a light you want to take on a section hike where you are counting ounces and trying to get your pack as light as possible. That is not the intended purpose of this light, so I'm not complaining about this at all. Overall, this is an awesome light. Seriously, it's one of my favorite gear finds. I highly recommend this to you. ** If you found this review helpful, please press the like button below. Thanks so much and happy trails! **

Works great, REALLY BRIGHT! EDIT: I LOVE THIS LIGHT!
EDIT 1/4/24: After having this light for nearly 2 years, I wanted to edit this post with how I feel about it: I LOVE IT!! I have pulled this light out of my camping gear to use for random things so often, I just keep it handy now. I use it when riding my bike by putting it on the blinking setting in the rear basket just as an extra measure to be seen. I use it in my car at night ALL the time because my car interior light does not light very well. Also, when I need to look in a dark place I would normally get a flashlight for, it works excellent for so many things. I never thought I would use this little light so much! Dollar for dollar, this has been a great investment! I bought this to use for ambient light in my SUV that I am building out for small camping trips. I like that it's compact and can be hung up on the ceiling or by use of the magnet on the back (or top) of it. It has 3 settings, Bright, Normal, and Flashing. I've tested it out in my home at night in a completely dark room. It does not light up the room like regular light, as in, the light is not radiant or ambient. It's enough, even on the less bright setting, to read, or pretty much do anything, but on both settings, it's so bright in my peripheral vision that it's a bit annoying and uncomfortable. I might try purchasing a small lampshade to put over it so dull it down some. All in all, I think I can work with it. These LED lights are just not the same as regular lights, they are always way too bright in the peripheral vision area.
