The media could not be loaded. I'm building cabinets for my family/A-V room, learned alot when I did this 15 years ago for a house we sold so not forgetting to include lighting. And I'm not putting anything in that does not meet my criteria.Photos show my testing of extreme heat scenario, not an issue. Wrapped the lamp in three layers of foil and left it on for an hour. It did get warm but not enough to concern me. And admittedly the part that could also get hot, the converter, it remained barely over ambient temperature. And since this will be housed under better circumstances then my tests I feel confident of it's safety.And the lights dim. Not great but it does work to set the mood, kind of a clunky dim! It flickers up or down when dimming and the dimmest point is not like that of a high end LED but still will work well for my application.Update: All installed with the latest Kasa smart dimmer light switch and dimming is smooth and solid. Still images are at 1%, 50%, 75% and 100%. Video is when I manually turn them off, I have it set at a slow dim to off and these lights rock. If you take into account they are not listed as dimmable and yet they dim with the best of them. I'm very pleased.

The good: Self-contained, without needing to buy an additional transformer. Very easy to wire up. They don't get overly hot. They're plenty bright for what I needed!The "Meh": I wish the tinned ends were a few inches longer. The dog-ear springs are a little flimsy, but plenty strong enough.Overall: Did exactly what I needed it to do at an attractive price.

Was looking to replace two halogen spots in a medicine cabinet. These worked fabulously well.

They are very bright and do not get extremely warm. Easy, one hole installation. I did have a problem with one of the light's spring mounting wings. One end of one of the springs (each light has two of them, one on each side) came loose from its bracket and would not retain the fixture. Ordered replacement and one of those fixtures had the same problem. I would buy them again provided I could return them and get replacements for the defective spring mount if needed.

I have these in my outside pergola and they look great. Would purchase them again if I had the choice.I’m a little skeptical about the wire connectors as they seem like cheap plastic. If any of the lights go out I’m going to check those first.I’d be interested to see what the CRE is on these. No-name brands are typically bad. But for outside they’ll be fine.

We had about 14 WAC recessed under-cabinet halogen fixtures in our kitchen. They used 20w bi-pin bulbs which ran very hot making the insides of the cabinets warm near the bottom. The bulbs also burned out frequently and were a nuisance to replace. A couple of months ago I replaced them all with these LED fixtures and it was a breeze since the holes were the same size. I tried the white and warm white versions of these lights and found that the warm white was very close to the halogen lights so those are what I used. I am super happy with these. The light color is great, they are very bright, and they run cool and don't warm up the cabinets. They seem well made and the price is fantastic for the quality of the product. Really great fixtures!

Easy to install and allows for simple daisy chaining.
