Stuff You Should Know: An Incomplete Compendium of Mostly Interesting Things

I'm a big fan of the podcast and also a big fan of the book. Easy reading...

Decent and entertaining book, but a bit disappointing when compared to the podcast. The book is a collection of unconnected topics presented in a humorous way which works better in audio form. I think it would have benefited from some diagrams or informative illustrations (similar to Randall Monroe books).I think part of the issue is that the presenters on the podcast use tone to show how seriously the listener should take any particular statement, but in written form this just doesn't work and some of the humour just doesn't work. I really like the podcast but wouldn't recommend this book.

I'm a big fan of Josh and Chuck and the SYSK podcast and this book is the combined personalities of these two amazing podcasters printed onto paper - and I love it! Despite reading it to myself, I can still hear their voices, particularly when I come across the humorous puns that I know they were laughing about as they wrote. This is just the most brilliant book if you're a huge fan of SYSK.Thank you guys!From a UK fan

Despite the book arriving with sticky finger marks on it and needing a wipe down it looks quite good! I have started listening to the pod cast so will be interested if others reviews are true, the podcast is much better etc..

Was actually an Xmas gift for son but I'm nabbed it a few times and looking forward to borrowing it when he's read it.

Took a little bit longer then expected, but that’s my fault for ordering right before Christmas. All in all a good experience. The book is written the same way the podcast sounds, if that makes any sense. :) I didn’t get to read much, only the first two chapters, but I like it so far.
