Skeptical of buyer and Anniversary Edition, but ended up being so worth it!
It's 2021, and I thought to myself why not buy a game that I never finished but absolutely loved! That's exactly what I did! Now I was pretty hesitant to get this because the reviews mentioned how great the game is but another one states how they received it pre-owned. I definitely thought it was fishy too that the game only had 3 written review's. Also it's confusing on which edition to get, and what exactly was I missing out. So here my review. The product I received was unopened. Everything was wrapped with plastic, and the code for the Anniversary Edition was inside, just had to go to the PlayStation Store to redeem it.Now for what comes in it. As it says on the Amazon Product Page Feats list, it includes:-Dying Light base game-Hellraid, Bozak Horde-Cuisine & Cargo-Be the Zombie-Prison Heist-Ultimate Survivor Bundle-The 5th anniversary bundle DLCNow what that means is you get all of the 4 Expansions:Hellraid, Bozak Horde, Cuisine & Cargo, and The FollowingPlus 2 cosmetic/weapon packs:Ultimate Survivor Bundle and the 5th Anniversary BundleWhat you don't get is the other bundles such as:Harran Tactical Unit, Viking: Raiders of Harran, Classified Operation, Volkan Combat, Shu Warrior, Retrowave, Raise Elite, Godfather, Harran Inmate, Harran Ranger, Volatile Hunter, White Death, Vintage Gunslinger, Gun Psycho, and Crash TestNow it is a bummer that it doesn't come with the rest of those bundles, since I don't think they have a complete edition for this game (or it's possible I missed it). Some of the bundles you miss out are cosmetics for your buggy, and a skin for yourself. However, some do give you different weapons. Is it a big deal? It's honestly not since it's only weapon's, and skins. Besides if you want you could just buy the bundles separately on the PS Store ranging from $1.99-$2.99.The game itself is great as always! If you haven't tried this game out I'd definitely do it now. Especially since DL2 is most likely not coming out anytime soon. If you enjoy killing zombies and running around doing parkour definitely grab this game. The combat is a more polished version of Techlands previous game Dead Island. However, it offers first person platforming that honestly feels really great and is very responsive similar to that of Mirror's Edge. Definitely grab this game if you haven't tired it, you'll have a blast!

Amazing Game, Dedicated & Loving Developers
Techland has come a long way from their early works. They have ahown their passion with this Original Dying Light game. This is the second copy I have bought, the original was given the one of my Mom's friends husband. I picked the Anniversary Edition up to support them as well as return it to my collection. They keep on adding content and they are adding content to Dying Light 2 and so far 98% of it has been free!Great game, great story. One of the best Zombie FPS and parkour games ever.

Some tense Zombie action
I wasn’t familiar with DL when it first came out but decided to check it out with this Anniversary edition that has all the DLC. In some respects, it reminds me of some of the earlier AC games in terms of gameplay and style, with maybe a mix of some of the earlier FC series of games, except with zombies. This does up the tension a bit with weapons that break and supplies that are not always available. It also ups the tension in the nighttime with these stalker type zombies that hunt you down and wipe you out quickly. The combat is decent and fairly smooth for the most part, although I would have liked a better aiming dot when you throw things, as it is sometimes so hard to see, it gets lost in the background. Combat is initially a struggle, but once you start expanding your skill tree, the zombies become a bit easier to handle. The jumping and parkouring, while not as smooth as I would like, works ok, considering this game is several years old now. The jump button is oddly mapped though on the controller and you cannot change it. Like most older games, the interactivity of characters and the game world is limited at times. You can’t just freely go up and chat with anyone and some buildings are totally closed off and serve just as a jumping or climbing point and not much else. There is also no fast travel ability either, which sometimes is an annoyance, but luckily, if you stick to the roofs, it is manageable. The maps is a pretty decent size and there is lots of things and missions to do, combine that with the added DLC and there is tons to keep you occupied. Graphically the game is ok, but you can tell that it is an older game. That is not a criticism as this would have looked good when it was first released, but is beginning to show its aged graphically now though.Although not perfect and suffering from some of the ills of older games, this is nonetheless a fun zombie survival adventure that does a great zombie of creating the tension, especially at night. Just watch out for those zombie hunting things. I like this game enough to get the sequel.4 stars
