The product is smaller than I thought it would be and not all the dies fit in it. Great for small pieces that need to be cut.

Thus machine is very nice and works extremely well. The suction is strong, and the crank doesn't need extra pressure. Embossing feature was a little stronger than the cutting, because little pieces still need to be picked out manually. This little portable machine is AMAZING !!Great for beginners. Value for money and I love the size, makes card making fun and I love creating small cute cards.. Awesome gift idea too.. Must buy!

I thought i did not need this but told myself to purchase this as i have smale dies to cut and i have to say that i do not regret one bit.

I opened the box the minute it arrived so I could try this out. The Sidekick is so easy to operate that I was using it within minutes! This kit is such a great way to start since it includes not only the machine but also a set of 8 dies, two embossing folders, and set of 7 stamps. With this one purchase, I have what I need to get started making cards! Note that this is a SMALL machine meant for small projects (perfect for greeting cards). If you are looking for something to cut or emboss for larger projects, you'll need a larger machine. Be sure to read the product description and size specs. Overall, this was a fantastic value considering everything that comes with it! I'm very happy with the purchase.

Did I need this? Nope! Do I love it? Yep! I have the big shot, and that is great, but sometimes I don’t want to bother with getting it out and setting it up, only to cut one small piece. That’s where this comes in. It’s small enough that I can leave it out and really weighs very little. The suction cup on the bottom works great and even attaches to a cutting mat (self-healing type) that I use when I’m working on the floor on carpet. I’m only adding that because carpet obviously doesn’t provide a hard surface, and I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to use it without a rigid surface under the mat.So absolutely unnecessary, but very nice to have:) cuts great - even though 2 pieces of card stock (90lb).
