Yes, but I don't recommend it. The picture quality from this cable is a lot worse than some other options, plus this one can develop an overheating issue that might add a "hiss" to your capture.

Yeap, the cable works whit out problem playing games of the PS1 on the PS2, the only problem Is the resolution ir the image, looks way better in the PS1 jajaja, yes Is crazy

Q: it used to work good for a few weeks. but now just gets hot and shuts off?

Before I returned mine, it would add a static hiss to the sound if it had been left plugged in for about an hour and would only temporarily go away if left completely unplugged for about an hour. I am under the impression these units have an overheating issue.
