I've had this bag for almost three months now. I love it. It's a good size for me, definitely on the large size for a purse but it's not big enough to make you feel like you're carrying a beach tote -plus the inside pockets help keep it organized. It looks very nice and polished, the leather softens over time and the initial scent/smell (mine shipped with a strongly scented sachet in it) fades as well. The straps are thin as others have commented so I try to avoid overloading this bag to avoid overstressing them. It's become difficult to find a good quality nice looking leather purse that is also affordable so I feel lucky to have stumbled across this find. I hope that this can be a staple in my wardrobe for years to come.

I used to get Sienna Ricci bags. In fact, I was addicted to them. This time it seems they were not being sold anymore so Inhad to start searching for a new bag maker. Well, leave it to Amazon to come up with the best bag maker around, Covelin. Not only is the bag awesome, but American Marketplace is a really good company. I got the bag about a day earlier than they said.The outside of the bag is soft to touch. The inside, and you will really have to see it to get the full picture, is luxurious! The material is lush. Most important of all is the center pocket for your wallet. I was in the bank one day, here we have police as guards, and he was telling me I should be safer and keep my bag closed as I walked. He recommended the center wallet zipped compartment in ladies bags. Have followed his advice for a very long time now. So, the wallet pocket is zipped, and there is a side of the bag inside zipped pocket. On the other side there are two pockets but not zipped. Outside the bag, on one side, is another zipped pocket. How can you go wrong!I recommend this bag highly.

Updated review 7/2017So, the bag was a really good bag. I really liked. However, around May 2017, one of the the little buckles fell off, causing the strap to break. I managed to get the strap reattached by stitching it directly to the bag. Unfortunately, that didn't help. Mostly because another one of the little buckles fell off. Most of the time the items I carried were my wallet, iPad, Nook, personal planner, and small pen pouch. I have a water bottle, but decided to carry it in my hand because it is a larger bottle. The other items were not particularly heavy. But I guess the weight of these small items together was too heavy for the tote. I'm now giving this three stars instead of five because the inner zippered section was awesome and the style of the bag was just what I like. The stitching of the handles and how they are placed on the tote needs a lot of work. My original review stated I may purchase again in the future. I'm not so sure this time. Although the price is currently half of what I originally paid, a tote bag should last a lot longer than nine months before having to be replaced.Original reviewI really like this bag. I was a little concerned when I read some of the reviews stating that there was a strong odor coming from the bag (I'm sensitive to certain scents) and that the bag had a permanent crease in it from the way it was packaged. However I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box!The tote bag was packaged inside a box that held a large bag with the company name. The first thing I noticed was that the odor was very faint; nothing that sitting in front of an open window for a few hours couldn't handle. The next thing I noticed, no permanent fold mark! Although the bag was flat in the box, I think because there was some extra paper in the box for support.The bag is a very nice size. I tested to see if it could hold up to the abuse of a teacher carrying tons of school stuff. So far it can hold a personal size planner, an iPad, a pen pouch filled with pens, a Nook tablet, and a water bottle...with room to spare! I can put a light sweater/jacket or light scarf in there as well when the weather gets cooler.I like the feel of the bag. I was concerned that it was going to be on the flimsy side. However, it isn't. It's well made and it looks great. I will admit that it is just a tiny bit "glossy" from the wax used on it. But I know that will fade over time and this bag will continue to look great.I'm very happy with this purchase and may buy one again in the future if ever there is a need to replace the tote bag.

Beautiful Handbag! High quality especially for its reasonable price.Two things I wish were different: 1. I wish the straps were a bit wider because it is a larger handbag. I hope these thinner handles will be strong enough for the weight of the handbag as time goes on. Plus, a wider strap is more comfortable on the shoulder. 2. It arrived with a paper bag of lavender glittery flakes. The bag was open upon receipt and the inside of the handbag was covered in lavender glittery flakes. Not that big of a deal. I simply vacuumed it out! :)

I purchased this Covelin Tote to replace a much loved tote that I've been using for the past 5 years. This tote is the perfect replacement because it has the following features:- Zipper at the top to keep all your stuff from falling out- Interior space is divided into two compartments- The divider is actually a large zippered pouch- A small interior zippered pocket- A small exterior zippered pocket- Two interior pockets with no zippers- Professional lookNo more dumping everything out to find my keys. There's a place for everything. The handles are study and should hold up unless you're carrying around a bunch of rocks.

Very soft leather. Nice compartments in side. Nice length of straps to stay on my shoulder. Love the color.

If found this to be a good solid bag and used it quite a lot since buying it in June 2018. I liked the variety of zippered compartments and pockets. Not high quality leather, but good enough for my purposes. BUT then the strap broke after about 4 months of use. I was able to re-stitch it back on, but now the other strap broke and it's not repairable. So overall not happy with this bag... should have lasted more than nine months.
