This is a nice product but not the easiest to put together. You really need to pay very close attention to the diagrams or else it may not operate perfectly and you will need to redo sections. It does operate well when completed correctly.

Felt compelled to write a review as it did not have many reviews and some of the other reviews had me on the fence as to whether or not to buy.My 8 year old and I loved the experience of building this robot. The instructions are easy to follow (pictures only), you just need to pay attention to detail as far as how each piece is oriented.Battery life has been good - at least 20 minutes of play between charges and it hasn't completely died on us yet - just became more sluggish.The gripper claw has been able to pick up quite a few different items. It's not industrial strength but it's fine for a kid's toy.Maybe I got a good one based on the other reviews, but this one is a 10/10 and would buy again.

Kit was well packaged and well labeled. Instructions were decently easy to follow and part quality wasn't bad. May have been missing one small part but it was small enough that we may have lost it too. I just 3d printed a replacement. My 10 year old was able to build it with a little coaching.The reason I had to give it two stars was that after assembly we played with it for about an hour and suddenly all the functions controlled by the buttons on top half of remote stopped working. Tried troubleshooting and reaching out to supplier who was only able to provide some generic steps. Had to return it.

This is not a project for an 8 year old. The directions were poorly written and the graphics were not much better. It took 2 adults to assist and it still didn’t work properly. True waste of time and money.

I would give this 5 stars but ultimately we had to send it back because of an assembly problem. Here’s what happened: when we were assembling the robot, we plugged one wire into the wrong port, and when I tried to unplug it to fix the mistake, the clip at the end of the wire just would not come out. I tried tweezers, but no go. Ultimately the wires came out but the clip stayed in. I would suggest to the manufacturer that they make the wire ports and clips differently so you can plug and unplug them, since this is learning toy. Also, if u need to return this item, just know that it won’t fit in its original box unless u completely disassemble it.

I got this for my 9 year old son. Worth every penny. Directions were easy to follow. Product totally lived up to expectations. Most importantly, impressively rugged design. Can't really think of one negative thing to say. Perhaps maybe, why couldn't they have made this when I was a kid? Last but not least. Amazing customer service. I plan on buying more products from them.
