Had the understanding that I was getting the elite the 501 key fob tool came with the 901 whatever it is not the good one!

I purchased this to mileage adjust a replacement cluster for my 2014 Ferrari California. It connects via OBDII and is able to clear codes, but it DOES NOT ADJUST MILEAGE. Every time I attempted it just says "Failure to Communicate". I updated and the same error occurs. I also sent the XTools an email about the issue and they have not responded.

First of all I received a previously used unit that came with no screen protector and scuff marks on the screen. Very disappointed, the description should have said used instead of new, I am really upset about this, I bought the d8 two months ago and it's perfect. Plus the pad 3 does not have the same software as in the instruction manual which lets me know quality control was not done. But if I pay for new I expect new and also when I do live data the device freezes up.but I am upset I think this will be my last xtool, thinking bout going back with autel

The X100 PAD3 works perfectly. I run it on my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and results came out less than 1 minute, very fast. I also did AKL of Camry 2017 successfully which only took about 3 minutes, of course I used ks-1 Toyota Simulator at the same time.
