Good for saving trips while camping
Lot better than going lidless. Sturdy enough for the wife but I wouldn't trust it if your over 250. Easy to pop off and clean. The size of the lid is smaller than standard toilet seats. But it's easy to store and use.

Great inexpensive, emergency preparedness idea
If you're concerned about a earthquake in your area or perhaps being run out of your home with a fire, or if you're just going on a camping trip, this is a great idea. It comes from river rafting.. place this on a cheap 5 gallon bucket and get some TP and RV holding tank solution and you have a portable bathroom. Stick it in a storage area where you can get to it in the event of an emergency or even a plumbing failure recently, our septic tank needed major work for a couple of days and this came in really handy . After using it, you can just clip a lid on the bucket and carry it around in your truck or car to take it to a dump station, at an RV park or simply pour down the toilet when you get to one. couldn't be simpler.
