Carlson H2307 Rear Drum Brake Hardware Kit

Very nice complete set for a full rear brake job on our Tahoe. Large black return spring has slightly smaller wire and overall coil diameter than what I assume was the factory spring I removed, but fit and works fine. Other than that, everything was identical to original. Usual Amazon benefits of reasonable price, and delivery to my door!

The hardware itself is good quality. The problem you may encounter, as I did, is that you may receive (2) RIGHT-HAND, or (2) LEFT-HAND bags of self-adjuster parts when you need (1) RH and (1) LH of course. The bags are clear so you can see through them. I didn't notice this until one side was completely done, and the other had everything but the self-adjuster in place (which is LH or RH). While Amazon would have accepted a return, the job needed to be completed so I had to re-use a 3 parts (not springs) from the old parts. Unfortunate, so be sure to check the parts closely before-hand because upon 1st glance, it looks like you're getting all the parts you need.

Used this product brake full assembly kit on a 1994 chevy c1500 single cab short bed... One trick to install the springs and pin locks I used zip ties to compres the springs ...and the rest just fit in place. Very satisfied this parts are hard to get complete in a regular local auto store ...thanks Amazon/ and suppliers.

Nice parts kit; just very little of it was suitable for my car. Purchased because Amazon said it was appropriate for a 1997 Chev Suburban and I wanted to make sure I had everything on hand before starting the rear drum brake job. Out of some thirty odd parts, I was able be use maybe (4) four.

Make sure you know what size drum brakes you are working with this works with the 10 inch drums. If you have the 11 inch drums you need to get the other one they have different automatic adjusters.
