Ships with China plug so doesn’t work out the box
Ships with China plug when in UAE should ship with British plug. Very frustrating why people do this.

I used this at a customer site and was so impressed I bought some for myself. I know it sounds ridiculous when talking about USB hubs but it's the little things that make it a pleasure to use: It sits nice and flat on the desk and doesn't "pull". its LED indicators don't blind you. You can disconnect everything from the computer at once with power switch. The hub works (at reduced power capability) even if you don't use the separate power adapter. The port orientation allows you to see/use the devices you plug in "flat" (parallel to the table) -- this is either a win or a lose depending your specific devices/application. It will happily power or charge devices without the computer connected. The power adapter is reasonable (24W) and the supplied upstream cable is a reasonable length (3'). This switch does not have MTT, which means that even though your uplink is USB 3.0 SS, you can't use that high bandwidth to get more than 480mbps total when using multiple 480mbps 2.0HS devices. (i.e. the SS bandwidth is for SS devices only, and everything else competes over the 480mbps HS bandwidth.) This isn't a problem for most people, and isn't for me in this application, but I have MTT capable hubs for when I need that feature.

Let me be blunt: I was tired of juggling flash drives, peripherals, and charging cables with only 2 laptop ports. Enter the TP-Link UH700—an ultra-slim, seven-port USB 3.0 hub that actually does what it promises. What Stands Out: Blistering USB 3.0 Speeds: Transfers up to 5 Gbps—about ten times faster than USB 2.0. I dropped a full HD movie and it landed in under 2 minutes 20 seconds. That’s real-world speed you notice. Smart Charging Capability: Three ports deliver up to 5 V/1.5 A each—charging about 50% faster than the usual 1 A hubs. My phone hit full charging noticeably quicker. Built Tough and Safe: It’s not just slim—it’s smart. Multiple protections guard against overheating, over-current, over-voltage, short‐circuits, plus it supports hot-swapping. Clean, Minimal Footprint: The sleek design with LED indicators—both on the power button and beside each port—feels professional without flashing like a disco. Effortless Compatibility: Plug-and-play across Windows, Mac, Linux—even older OS like XP or Vista. No driver hassle. Bottom line: The UH700 is a stylish, dependable solution for expanding your USB arsenal—fast data, quick charging, and safe operation in one compact package. Just don’t expect it to serve as a hard-drive powerhouse hub.
