So good
Made Porchetta with this stuff and it was amazing. Tasted like authentic Italian Porchetta. The flavor is very mild compared to the fennel seed and it was just a over all pleasant taste.

If you make porcetta, you need this ingredient ~

I’ve had more refined fennel pollen in the past that could be used like a seasoning on cooked food (sprinkled on like salt). This has a more noticeable texture and seems to have more parts of the plant in addition to the fine pollen but the flavor is great so I will use it in soup. I love making minstrone with tons of vegetables, some lightly sprouted legumes and my homemade chicken bone broth, and this flavor addition is an essential flavor layer as well.
