Renogy Rover 40 Amp 12V/24V DC Input MPPTSolar Charge Controller

I recently installed the Renogy Controller on my sailboat, and it has been performing flawlessly! The MPPT technology is highly efficient, maximizing the energy output from my solar panels, even in low-light conditions. The LCD display is clear and easy to navigate, providing all the information I need at a glance, including real-time system stats and charging status. I also appreciate the sturdy build quality and the numerous safety features, such as overcharging and short-circuit protection, which give me peace of mind. I have gone through 3 different MPPT controllers and this is the first to actually do everything it stated. Installation couldn't have been easier. I like the mounting brackets, they make mounting way easy. The controls although not all that obvious are easy to get used to. A straight right pointing arrow does not scream "Enter". Setting up the battery type and the load mode was super simple. So far so good. If things change I will edit. (NOTE: The Tech Support and Weather proof, I cannot comment on as I have not used the support or had "Weather" issue that would effect the controller) I had an opportunity to reach out the Tech support/customer service. I was attempting to register my warranty, However when I hit submit I was informed that the SKU/Product number was not found. I went thru the list and sure enough it was not there. According to support, I did not need to register my warranty since I bought it from Amazon and that I should just keep the Amazon information.

The controller seems to be effective and efficient in harnessing the photovoltaic production of my Renogy flex panels, 2X100w, feeding a 100amh LiFePO4 battery. I have used this for 1 year in my off-road trailer with great success even in the pacific northwest with fixed solar panels. Setup was quick and easy with good instructions, well designed and quality materials in the housing.

More info than I thought through the app. Easy to install. Great product. Lots of online support. Instructions are ok, but you can easily Google search anything and it works great.

It seemed to struggle when i changed it to 24 volts, kept telling me the batteries were over charged but then after a few reboots it seemed to remedy itself. Kinda wish the physical manual it came with didn't keep telling me to go download a digital manual for certain information!
