Replacement ThermoproTP Probe (Silver)

They are replacements for probes that go bad. They are exact duplicates so their temperatures are consistent and very accurate. The life span of probes varies depending on placement and temperature of grill. I use them frequently and about a year is the life I expect from them. I fat fire can cook them kinked leads can break wires, over temperature on wires can destroy insulation so there are a number of reasons for failure.

These probes should last longer than they do. But when you need to replace -- and you will, these function very well and are very accurate. One star off for being pricey.

I bought these for use with my ThermoPro TP20 and so far so good. My old ones stopped registering temperature correctly after bit of a grill fire incidence. These are doing well so far.

Thermopro seems to have changed the probes? These look like new probes to me, so I got them. They are fantastic compared to the previous ones I've had replaced twice! Took another chance with thermopro and these are fantastic probes. I strongly recommend getting them if you've had trouble with the old ones.
