A perfect product for home security.

Works well, but installation was tricky. You have to drill a 3/4" hole at least 2" deep, at about 1.4" I hit some metal (looked like thick staples) which was tricky to get through and then at about 1.8" I hit concrete, which was a major paid to get through. Once the drilling was done the rest was easy. It seems sturdy and I think this is the best and easiest line of defense after a deadbolt.

I have an older decorative wooden door and it doesn't have the place for a deadbolt. So I was looking at having one mounted behind it that I can slide into the ground. While looking I remembered this product. It's easy to install and way more secure than a one sided bolt. And the fact that you just store it on itself when you're at home is fantastic all the while when you're gone you have peace of mind. These seriously need a comeback for today's markets.

This is a very sturdy product and works as advertised. Once installed, very easy to use. Installation was a bit of a challenge. I think if a template was supplied for positioning would have been helpful. With that said I still readily endorse this product.

A very good product for security

I used to secure my back garage door and appears to be very substantial. It would be very difficult to kick the door in since I have going into a concrete slab. Not complicated to install.

Great product! Had to rent correct drill and bit, but worked fine and was not difficult to install.

It’s basically drilling a hole on the floor and that’s all. Heavy metal can take abuse.

Easy to install and works great. This was exactly what I was looking for.

This one replaces my brass one. Confident in its security. This properly installed on the floor behind a door will not be pushed opened.

Works well and just requires a hole drilled in the floor. But, the included brass screws for the reinforcing plate are garbage and two I tired broke while being screwed in. Use any steel #8 wood screws instead.

One of the parts (in the photo) arrived bent and cracked. The painted finish was garbage. The paint finish was scratched, chipped, flaking off, bubbled, and scuffed in random places on all of the painted parts. Instead of coming with screws to go with the white parts, it came with brass coloured screws, which looks ridiculous.
