It has been very useful for distributing internet to my room since I have my PC, TV and also a console. It has a fairly strong LED light, I must say it is very visible at night, but it performs its function excellently.

Another great ethernet switch from Linksys. You plug it in, and hook up your ethernet cables, away you go. Connectivity is your standard ethernet cables. Super easy to use. The metal construction is nice as well. No cheap plastic here. It is super quiet as well. I highly recommend this product.

Who puts router connection in the front? Only reason I gave it a 4 star is Brand. No TP Link or NetGear security issues.

I'm using this switch to connect a router to add more data outlets for 3 laptops plus my audio streamer. The signal is robust and the internet works flawlessly even when doing webinars from the 3 laptops and downloading hi-res music at the same time. I had no issues when connecting this to my router at home; it was pretty much "plug & play". 100% recommended!

This unit works right out of the box. Easy to set up. Just plug it in and use it. Lights near each jack indicates a live connection. Comes with stick-on feet that make it very stable sitting on a desktop.

I already have a Linksys 8 port switch but needed additional ports because of a move into a house that has more Cat 6 connections than my previous one. Instead of spending money on a larger switch with more ports, this was the least expensive solution, as I was able to daisy chain it with the existing switch. The devices connected to the new switch are working fine with no interruptions or lags in signal.

Funciona muy bien, lo tengo conectado a un cable ethernet que viene de la sala al segundo piso de mi casa, y de ahí a mi estudio y un segundo router. La única queja que tengo de este producto, es que siempre que esté encendido, tendrá el LED azul prendido. En el día no es problema, pero en la noche ilumina muchísimo. Puede afectar el sueño de las personas si deja en una habitación. De ahí en fuera, está excelente. Prefiero esta marca sobre TP Link.

Perfect ! exactly what I needed to make my home CAT.7 wired network I don't want WiFi and even less BlueTooth at home. Edit: I will leave it to 3 stars, for it worked fine for about 4 years, until 2 days ago when I moved it, I unplugged it here, and plugged it back there (on a UPS from APC) and pouf ! it doesn't work anymore (doesn't even switch on). I don't think 4 years is nearly enough for "just" a switch !
