the product will last a long time, a small amount goes a long way. vets often recommend a "pedi-cure" to remove some of the excess keratin buildup before starting the chemical reduction of the stratum corneum. Also warm salt water soaks will soften the pads. The other "greasy balms" will soften the areas, but will not remove excess keratin. Solva-Ker Gel is the only animal product that both softens and removes. Vets recommend applying 1-2 times daily and tapering the frequency once visible improvement is achieved. The 1 oz tube has consistency similar to lubricant. wash hands after applying. avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

Q: Is this legit? I received the item yesterday and there are two typos on the tube. I checked the description and you can see the typos there too.

I purchased several months ago. It worked wonders on my dog. I don't have the tube with me right now. If you are questioning it I would have your vet look at it and or get your item refunded.

Unbelievable! Miracle in a bottle for dogs with hyperkeratosis!

FINALLY! After a whole year of thinking i seriously might be losing my mind bc multiple professionals, like vets and groomers, close friends, family… literally EVERYONE either telling me I just need to accept that “she’s getting older”, or “you’re obsessed with your dog“ … or “you’re imagining things “. , “I don’t see anything “, “ etcI was even biking people to help me and they just weren’t getting the fact that it was restricting movement and had become too much for me to manage.Then one day I uploaded pictures with specific details of my observations since last June.. AI saved my dog from so much misery and given her a quality of life back!HYPERKERATOSIS IS NO JOKE. I just came across this gel and after only three days the keratin has broken up more than it did in the last 12 months! And it seems to make her feel good and it definitely dissolved huge chunks of keratin in such a gentle way. I still use NEEM oil, aloe, coconut, vitamin E gel/drops castor oil. But this is a game changer! It doesn’t just break it up but dissolves it ! Thank you!

Good stuff

It's good stuff if your dog will let you touch their feet. My bulldog won't let me put this on every day, if she would have I'm sure the pads of her feet would be a whole lot better. I don't like to force her to let me do it but I'd sneak it on and it does work, even if you don't get to put it on every day.

Can’t keep it on my cats paw but great for Mr cracked hands

I work as an RN and fight cracking skin all the time. Worked great for me. Can’t get my cat to leave it on his paw. Even with the collar of shame on he persisted and reached his paw. Need a new collar now.Tube is very small.

Used for two months, helped some but vaseline works better and dog is more accepting of it
