Ive been using these with a cross bow since 2008, and they've never let me down. I used the regular version with a compound bow for several years prior to 2008. If in doubt, you can slide a small dental rubber band (think braces) over the blades to keep them from deploying. Doesn't seem to have any impact on the point of aim.

Bought these for my husband for his crossbow, better than the products you get at bass pro shop or academy worth the money and for a great price Id say.

Great broadhead! This is my new go to for compound bow hunting. Flies pretty much identical to my field points, and no issues with function at all. Nice and sharp and a big fan of the friction retention system over the more expensive grim reaper broadheads( which don’t always open on impact)

I've used these broadheads for a couple years now , they fly as close to practice heads as possible, way more accurate than fixed blades. Blood trail has always been easy to track, Good Hunting

Been using these for many years taking elk bear and white tail and hogs never a issue shot placement is always key one shot then toss them

Bought these after reading a lot of reviews. Decently sharp out of the box so it got an extra star. I opened the package to inspect the heads and I wasn’t Impressed. The one that came open, I could not get one of the blades to close without fear of cutting my fingers. Had to use pliers to close it safely. I read several reviews that stated they were field point accurate…. Not the case. In fairness, I did not test it for myself and that is solely my fault. The first shot with one of these heads, I was 5 inches low on my target at 18 yards. Wouldn’t risk wounding an animal with one of these. I’ll spend the extra money next time and go back to my tried and true.
