I have used this supplement for years. Originally using the standard recipe. When my new 1yo puppy started shedding this spring like I’ve never witnessed with my previous 6 dogs. This was my go to initially when my 1st golden retire mix was shedding like crazy. This pup has dry skin and itching. This has all the ingredients to help get her coat and skin in great shape and less shedding. She is fed a high quality holistic dog food so this should complete her diet. I can’t wait to see her skin and coat improve. She has a lustrous coat to start, this will give her the additional supplements that address the skin and shedding.

I really need to write a review on this stuff. We have an Australian Shepherd names Trace. He's an awesome little dog. Great personality, lots of fun, listens good and is very obedient. We love him. For as long as we've had him, he's had skin problems. He bites, scratches and chews at himself and wears himself raw. He also develops these very disturbing lumps (lesions?) on his back, that last for months, then go away, then he gets more, elsewhere. The vets gave us medication that never seemed to help much, at all. So, in desperation, we bought a bag of this Missing Link Ultimate Skin and Coat formula and started adding it to his salmon and potato dog food. That was six months ago. Since then, we've gone through four bags of this stuff, also feeding it to his Aussie brother, Luke.After a few weeks on Missing Link, Traces' skin problems disappeared entirely! No more biting, scratching and chewing. No more lesions! His coat and Luke's, as well is absolutely beautiful. They shine in the sunlight. When we go for walks, we get lots of comments on how beautiful they look.Now, I can only imagine how good this stuff is for them inside, as well. It must be doing wonders for their brains, eyes, organs, you name it. The whole food ingredient list on this stuff is amazing. Go ahead and read it. I feel like I should add it to my scrambled eggs in the morning. Anyway, I love thus stuff and what it's done for Trace and Luke. I just bought the five pound bag. Try it!

I first learned about missing link when I had a West Highland White Terrier with terrible skin problems. They have a special diet for Westies, and this is one of the ingredients. I now use it for my Bichon who gets seasonal itching. I think it is a great supplement!

We did not see the same kind of miraculous results observed by other users of Missing Link, nonetheless it helped our itching, scratching Chocolate Lab to the point that we bought a second bag. In the summer, Bessie spends hours every day itching and scratching because her skin is so dry. She will eat off pieces of fur on her back to try and stop the itching, It looks horrible and must feel absolutely miserable. Money is an object, so my husband made a collar for her out of an old kitty litter jug. Well, within three weeks of going on Missing Link, and wearing the improvised collar, Bessie's scratching was substantially reduced. Over the next few weeks, it stopped entirely, and her coat really does shine. She knows when we're mixing Missing Link in her food. She can smell it, and she loves the taste. It will be several months before we have to worry about it, but we may launch a preemptive strike this year by starting her on Missing Link before the summertime itching and scratching begins. We would recommend this product to others.

I have been a German Shepherd owner and avid dog lover and trainer for over 30 years. I bought my first dog right out of high school. It wasn't until recently that I learned that hip displasia was NOT the only debilitating condition that plaques particularly German Shepherds (and many other breeds as well, particularly large breeds). It dawned on me as I began seeing the dreaded signs of difficulty standing, rear feet dragging (knuckling) a bit here and there on a German Shepherd of mine that I know for a fact has perfect hips, no hip displasia whatsoever. No. Did it back the condition off and help her regain her strength and resiliance? YES, YES, YES!!!! She even chases and plays with my 3-Year Old German Shepherd again. I cannot say enough about the profound effect Missing Link powder has had on my dog. I have, to date, recommended it to 5 others with older dogs showing the same hip weakening conditions and ALL FIVE reported the same astonishing results.
