Just installed my second ALL METAL handheld shower head in the guest bath (the first was installed in our ensuite bath) - fantastic product, it really is all metal, well constructed with a great flat black finish. For years I’ve been looking for an all metal handheld shower head like I had in my home in Europe, and finally found it! All the handheld shower heads by the major name brands are plastic. The product was easy to install (use a 7/8” wrench rather than an adjustable wrench!). No leaks and works great. We live in California now so had to order the California certified head with the lower flow rate (1.75 gal/min versus 2.25 gal/min), but the flow was more than enough. The water streams better with less “mist” compared to our prior handheld, which cost twice as much and was all plastic. My wife and I could not be happier.

Beautiful !. seems to be very high quality - opted for brushed nickel finish - works wonderfully !! Even though it is still California compliant my shower experience is much more satisfying now. The flow is stronger and fuller. Very happy. The metal hose is a nice, practical plus.

So far so good it is well-made, heavy duty, all metal and they made it easy to install without making a mistake. They put a plastic protective part placed around the ends where the screw threads are so it doesn’t get damaged during shipping and they are labeled which end you’re supposed to put the shower head on- it makes a big difference. They even included the teflon tape! I live in California, so with what we are allowed to have gallons per minute isn’t much but the shower was way better than the cheap unwieldy plastic shower head that came with the house when I bought it. I actually like the style, it goes with my mid century not a lot of frills house.

I got my new HammerHead shower head set yesterday. It came a day earlier than expected which was a plus. I installed it today and it works great. I have pictured the unboxing of it because I was really impressed on how well it was boxed up. Each piece is individually wrapped and then boxed as well. I am sure the company did this to keep the parts from getting damaged. I have also included a picture of a blue cap which is on the the holder of the shower head. To get that cap off just turn it counter clockwise. I also included the finished product installed. Excuse the extra plumbers tape at the top, I went a little over board. Lol! By the way it comes with the tape so you don't have to buy any, which is a plus too. The shower headset is all metal like the description says, so hopefully it last longer then the plastic one I had installed previously. It is made in China but hopefully the USA engineering and quality control make up for that fact. It is a nice shower head and it is very light weight. I got the brushed nickel because my previous one was stainless and it showed up a lot of water stains and such. I have found brushed nickel doesn't do that. The install was real simple just follow the instructions. The only thing about the instructions that I found not useful was the part about putting the washers in the mount and hose ends. I found there were already washers pre-installed. I guess the two that come with the kit are extras for when one wears out. This shower set is really easy to install you don't need a plumber to do it. The shower head puts out good pressure better than my previous head. I left the water restrictor plate in it for now and it seems enough water flow for me. I look forward to many years of use with this showerhead. I will update as needed this review.

Let me start by saying I live in California so, by law I had to order the reduced water usage model that is advertised as 1.75 gpm. This reduction is accomplished by inserting a restrictor disc in the end of the shower mount that attaches to the pipe coming out of the wall. I had intentions of removing the restrictor to get a good flow of water to the shower head. After doing so, connecting the entire unit up and having my first shower, I wasnt too happy with the force of the spray. If you like needle point hard spray then the model without the restrictor is for you. personally both my wife and I prefered a softer feel to the spray. Bottom line is I installed the restrictor and will continue to use the shower with it. I might add I put a gauge on my water line and it read 60 psi static pressure exactly. this is a common water pressure on most house. Positives: Quality materials in the unit construction, Brass, Chrome and Stainless Steel. Ease of installation. Nice long hose. Negatives: No adjustment on the shower head for flow or spray shape. Because of the shower head design, draining the hose and head will take several minutes before it stops dripping in the shower. Neutral: Only time will tell how long the rubber shower spray tips will last.
