Along with the board, this item is top quality, easy to use even for a 12 years old boy passionate about technical drawings. The price is a little bit high, in my opinion, a fair price is about 25 Euro but I am not a professional, I am just the guy that owned and used the credit card :)) Nevertheless that doesn't mean that needs stars down, because functionality is everything. Locking mechanism on the ruler is very smart and thin. Also the locking mechanism on the rotating mechanism is very smooth. It has some kind of window magnifier, which makes the reading on the ruler faster I think. From what I understood it contains 2 special positions for "isometric" view, hope the term is correct. These positions and overall position are 100% repeatable so that is the hole point! I hope in time will have the same precision. Anyway my son is happy, so 5 stars also for this item!

Buen accesorio combinado con el tablero de dibujo. Ha sido una grata sorpresa descubrir que viene con posiciones prefijadas con ángulos de 15, 30,60 y 45 grados que se enclavan automáticamente, lo que agiliza mucho trazarlos. Tiene marcados los ángulos de 7 y 42 para dibujos en un tipo de perspectiva bastante habitual. Se puede hacer con escuadra y cartabón? Por supuesto, pero para medir ángulos desconocidos o trazar ángulos y sus complementarios rápidamente viene de perlas. El ajuste es muy bueno, no se mueve fácilmente por lo que dificulta que arrastremos errores acumulados en diseños complejos. Puede parecerme algo caro, pero es cierto que es de calidad, Buenos materiales y ajuste, artículos similares me han parecido más endebles.

I bought the board a few weeks back, and love it. I made do with a couple of triangles and a t-square (kinda defeats the purpose) for a while, but liked the Staedtler drawing board so much, I decided to cough up the ridiculously high price for a piece of thin plastic. Glad I did. This thing is great. Just like the board, it seemed cheap and flimsy when I first handled it, but has proven to be well designed and far, far more convenient that the tools I was using before buying it. Not cheap. Worth the price. Highly recommended.
