Now my boiled peanuts taste like the ones from the peanut stands
On the east coast (I guess "south east" to some, I call it the middle [VA/NC/SC]), boiled peanut stands are pretty common. Now living far away from the east coast, I occasionally boil some "Raw Virginia Jumbo" peanuts, and they are OK. I read somewhere that they needed to be Valencia peanuts, and this appears to be right. The peanuts come out vibrantly purplish-red, something I distinctly remember from the peanut stands that mine previously never had, and the flavour is perfect. The difference isn't *huge* by any means, but if you want to capture the essence of the peanut stand, this is the way to go....Just costs more than I think it should and mine were also very slow to ship. Still worth it in my book.

Taste good to me
I bought these for my squirrels because they are supposed to be better for them. I didn’t notice they were raw so I had to roast them. Did that in my air fryer. I thought they taste so much better than the other peanuts. But my squirrels, not so much. They prefer the normal peanuts.

Boiled peanuts are tasty and easy to make
Yes, these are made with raw peanuts which we order from Amazon about twice a year. The covering is thin which is the way we like it. Once you start eating these it's hard to stop.

These peanuts taste better roasted than boiled
I disliked the taste when I boiled them. Too bland. I loved the taste when I roasted in the oven. Too pricey.
