What UTube video would you recommend for someone that has not done this type of repair before?

Hi,You can search for "replacement lens glass" on as your reference. The follow is experience from a good buyer: First you gotta heat it up. People online recommend a blow dryer. I didn't have one so I got a spoon and held it over a fire for 10 seconds. Then I gently pressed the back of the spoon to the shattered glass. Did this twice. Then I started picking at it with the thing that looks like it can pick out splinters. I'm not sure what it's called. But then it started to come off easily; the shattered glass. First time I tried before heating it up and I wasn't getting anywhere. After this, i take the replacement from the plastic bag, I found this glass is very clean ( you need becareful when you take the glass from the package. Hold the edge of the glass and don't leave hand prints on it) then I just stuck it right on. Looks brand new again. If my instructions are confusing, I watched YouTube as a sort of guide me, before I ventured off to do my own thing. Hope this helps :)

Will this lense cover replacement maintain the phones waterproof rating?

I have been using this for a few months now and I won’t lie I do take my phone into the shower with me to listen to some tunes, I have not noticed any water damage at all, however you do need to be sure to get every little piece of glass and adhesive from the previous camera off!
