If you’re the type of sleeper that needs to literally be catapulted out of sleep by the sound of ridiculously loud and damn near deadening sound this is the one for you. Not for the faint of heart. Will absolutely induce your flight or flight instinct from a dead sleep. I believe there may only be a handful of people on the planet that could sleep through this, and most of them are in hospitals in comas.

The clock keeps time accurately. The alarm is really loud. It's beautiful I love it.

I bought this alarm because i’ve been so exhausted that I sleep through my iPhone alarms even the loudest Belltower alarm on my phone. I read reviews and I wanted a cute clock and this was retro and cute. It is loud! When I say loud, I mean loud loud, give you a headache loud, it’s exactly what I needed. No one could sleep through this. I’m so happy I’ll be able to get up on time!!!!!

I was sleeping through my phone alarm when I was overly exhausted, so I went in search of something louder. This is LOUD! It wakes me up no problem. It doesn't glow as well as pictured, but not a huge deal but wish it did. The only real downside to an alarm clock like this is no snooze feature... so I've been forcing myself up with it so I don't mess up and fall back to sleep. It's super easy to set the time and alarm. Takes 2 AA batteries(not included). If it had snooze option, it would be perfect! And you can't beat the price! Great deal. It's also a cute addition to my nightstand. Seems like it's good quality so far. I've been using it for a week and even knocked it into the floor once and it didn't break or crack. Functions as it should.

Inexplicably failed within 45 days. Can't be returned.

It's loud. Which is good and why I purchased this. Most alarms on amazon are pretty quiet, but this one is not. The designa and color are cool, the backlight is worthless. Setting the time and alarm time aren't very precise. And I'm convinced it doesn't always go off - maybe 1 in 20 days.

Junk! Problems snapping down the battery compartment door once the battery was inserted. The alarm needle was set for 12:00 (during a start-up test) and the dual-alarm-bells rang at 11:40. On another test, the alarm rang 6 minutes later than the intended time it was set for. When adjusting the actual time, the minute needle and knob had a clicking noise and resistance. The minute needle either rested slightly before or slightly after the intended minute. On analog clocks made in the USA, notice the tic-marks between the numbers (1,2,3,4 thru 12). On analog clocks there only three tic-marks between all numbers to represent 15-minute intervals. This piece of junk has 4 tic-marks between the numbers 1-thru-12, which means 12-minute intervals between each tic-marks (ie.12-24-36-48-60 minutes). Surely it only cost only less than $10.00, but it doesn't even fulfill its primary mission to function as an "ALARM CLOCK." JUNK!
