After doing some research and reading several reviews, I decided to go with this model… and it was absolutely the right choice.Product details:The quality is excellent. It’s made of sturdy metal with a solid, heavy-duty design that feels built to last. The bottom tote section is very spacious and holds a good amount of hand tools — like brushes, small rollers, tape, screwdrivers, a level, masks, and more — without feeling cramped.The top case fits power tools like a drill, extra batteries, bit cases, and a charger perfectly. Everything stays well organized and easy to access. The snap-on/snap-off system is super convenient — it can be detached with one hand, which is especially helpful when wearing gloves or in a rush.The metal handle is on the larger side, but it’s very sturdy. It locks into place when lifted, so there’s no worry about the tote tipping or spilling while carrying it. Also, the overall size was just right — it fits in the locking storage compartment of the work truck, so he can safely leave his tools at the end of the day instead of bringing everything home.What could be improved:The handle, while solid and functional, could be slightly more ergonomic or compact for easier use in tight spaces.Advice for other buyers:If you’re thinking of getting a useful gift for someone who works in trades like painting, electrical, or carpentry, this bag is an excellent option. I own fourteen of these that I've purchased over the years to make tool "kits". As in, one tote may contain the battery-operated tools and accessories while another contains the batteries and chargers. I also have kits for plumbing tools and supplies, drywall tools and supplies, general hand tools, etc.To ensure I don't mix up the separate tops with bottoms, I installed small hinges on the back of each set - the top section hinges up out of the way to access the tools/supplies in the bottom section.The only negative is that the front of the tote sections are textured, so applying an adhesive label doesn't guarantee that the label will stay in place with use and age.

I purchased to store my Dewalt tools in one box. It’s certainly large enough for a drill, impact drill, reciprocating saw and it an oscillating tool. There’s also a small compartment inside for drill bits. I like how the top detaches, but not certain how long the metal closures will last on the hard plastic catches. I guess time will tell, but so far okay. My only issue is once filling with tools, it’s quite heavy to carry around. For me this is best for storage but not for constantly carrying place to place.
