These whistles can be used for security purposes. Every women should have one in her purse, bad guys don't like attention being drawn to them. I gave three of these to the ladies in my family. I also keep one in my car. Remember"An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" This is a small investment for peace of mind. AAA+++ Seller.

I like its small size, and it fits very well on my life jacket, but its not as loud as I would expect. It gets the job done, but I with it was louder.

I wanted a very loud whistle, I got a very loud whistle. Make sure to cover your ears if you blow really hard, or else it will hurt them. Just what I wanted.

Tops Knives come with whistles like this, but black. I've purchased this product on two different occasions. On worked great. One had no tone from the center chamber. I would give the former 5 stars and the latter 1 star, so I averaged them to a 3. This design is made/sold by many on Amazon and in stores. I recommend the design. Wherever you get it from.

Nice whistle for emergencies, and scouts. My son takes it on camp outs for the scouts, and its great that it is a bright orange since tt will be harder to loose in case it gets dropped. Its loud too, and I'm certain at a time of distress it would alert someone that help is needed. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for an emergency whistle for hiking, camping, or security.
