Ease of use, fun,
This was my first painting by number project and I'm hooked! The colors were exactly as shown the canvas is easy to paint on, the lighter colors need extra paint so they don't show, I started to paint the lighter colors and realized they show through I then painted them in white first then the paint color and that was a game changer. I had plenty of paint with a lot left over, if your paint dries out a bit just add very small amount of water and you're back in business. Definitely a stress reducer and relaxing, some numbers were very small so I took a picture with my phone on macro and that worked perfectly. Great value for the money, the canvas came rolled up and ease of stretching was easy. Side note..I just bought another painting kit and the canvas was folded it has crease marks. The numbers for the most part are easy to see like I said above I took pictures for better quality to see the numbers.Would definitely buy from this company again. Relax, take a breath and just dive in, you won't be disappointed.

The highest quality paint by numbers kit I've ever bought
I've been painting with paint by numbers kits for over three years now, and needless to say have purchased dozens of kits. And by far, this the highest quality kit I've purchased. First and foremost, the quality of the paint is exceptional - bright vibrant colors that are easy to apply and that dry quickly without becoming too dry in the container. Also, coverage is great with one application including covering the numbers. I always stir and usually add a drop or two of water before using but after that things go very smoothly. Secondly, the quality of the canvass is great with well-defined lines and numbering. And the Venice street scene is simply beautiful and reminded me of various side streets I saw when visiting the city. Even the brushes are a cut above adequate with three sizes that cover all situations. I used the smaller brushes far more than the wide brush - there are very few areas where the large brush is useful. I also have some other brushes I've purchased over the years that occasionally come in handy for the finer details, but if you get the paint mixed properly, the included brushes will be fine. I would definitely call this at least intermediate level due to the fine details in a lot of the area, so question the "beginners" classification, but having said that, when I started out, I began painting with this level of painting, so there is no doubt a beginner would enjoy the challenge - just take your time and you'll be fine.

Use own brushes
Pretty, fun, simple. Not a quick process, though, so don’t bother rushing. Great way to zone out in a productive way between college study sessions. The brushes provided are a joke - the handle broke on one, the bristles shredded on another, and none are small enough for the teeeeny sections of painting. I am proceeding for now with provided brushes, and will go back to touch up with better later once I can get some. Paints are surprisingly ample and have good coverage. I’m a lefty, and new at this, but my method is to begin with dark colors, across the top, across the middle, across the bottom, then go back in case I missed any in the scavenger hunt of numbers. I’m hoping it’s a delicate exercise of the mind, this searching for numbers, haha. I’ll be buying more.

Challenging but Fun !
It was fun. My very first paint by numbers painting. I did end up getting better (smaller) brushes & I recommend getting some clear gesso and definitely some flow aid. For this painting I also used a 10X magnifying glass with a light since I’m half blind 🤣

Rock hard
When the kit arrived ALL of the paints were rock hard. Unfortunately, I am camping and threw the box away in the dumpster thinking that it would be fine-so unable to return. It looks beautiful and easy to read, but without paint it’s a dud!

Disappointed
1/3 of the paints were dried up and not enough paint for some of the larger paint areas. Glad I had left over paint from other pictures to use. Also, the numbering of what areas to paint were very hard to read at times. It could be a large area to paint, but the number was printed so small and usually near a boarder line. Hard to decipher where and when the color stops or starts!

Came out nicer than expected
Some paint by numbers end up with weird color combinations and do not look like the sample picture, this is not one of those. It looks exactly like it was supposed to. It was easy to do and is quite attractive framed in my office.
